compact, heavy duty, cable tie down feature, battery operated key pad, key lock feature, small enough to take on vacations, offices, dorm rooms, secured in the trunk of your car. convenience in safety.
I purchased the safebox today and it feels and seems reliable, I got home and tried to open the safebox with the key and wasn't opening with the key because the soft fiber material inside the safebox was stuck in between the door of the safebox, so i tilt the safebox in a position that made it easier for me to open the safebox but other than that it was easy to set a code and works fine with keys and Pass Code. i followed directions and set my passcode was able to set my pass code with no problem and was able to change my pass code again after i rested the 1st one.
Good for a dorm room or apartment since it's small and portable. Probably wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a heavy duty, fire-proof safe. Works well for my needs and fits cash, jewellery, and passport. Requires AA batteries for the key pad but also comes with keys to unlock. Includes bolts so you can bolt it down if you wish. Overall I would recommend.
would love to give this 5 stars. bought at my local store, and the first wouldn't unlock right. the second I did actually open but was difficult as if the locking pins need to be pushed when turning the knob. third time the charm. I contemplated grabbing it again for a third time after having to return to the store twice for a return. there was nothing in that price range that had that same look or same door which is exactly what I was looking for so I went for it again, gladly it worked perfectly. have I gotten that one on the first try I would have given this review five stars, however it took me three trips to find the one that works right.
I am not sure if anyone else that has bought this product came with directions, but mine sure didn't! I purchased this a while ago for when I moved into my new house and therefore did not open it until today ( and I purchased it a few months ago) so I dont think I can return or exchange it. I am still searching online to see if I can find the directions on how to set it up, but came across this and thought I would let other shoppers know!
It is a piece of crap! Followed all the directions, entered the code, and it kept saying it was not correct code. Returned for full refund. We don't recommend this product.
I have always wanted a safe to store few of my stuff. When I saw this, I decided to give it a try. I bought it mainly because of the price, even though, I did not find any review on it. I got what I paid for, cheap safe. After using it for about a year, barely going into it. The battery died, and now I cannot even get into it. The keys, could not find it anywhere. Now trying to figure out how to get into it.
Broke after a week. The locking mechanism is crap. It worked for a week then broke. Took me two weeks to finally get it open again to get my stuff out.
