I purchased this for Hurricane season and the many power interruptions we have in Homestead Fl. Now I can have peace of mind that my fish will be fine during any power outage.
Air flow cuts in half on D/C power, not much for water movement.
The batteries exploded inside of the pumps
If I could give zero stars, I would. Back up does not work even with extra strength brand new batteries. Get a few bubbles out of one air supply and the water actually backs up in the other one. Works well on AC but very noisy so don't use except if need super oxygenated water. Big noisy paperweight.
