Works pretty well for turtles
If you have a larger fish tank, this is the filter you need!!
This filter has been great for my outdoor stock tank!
I replaced a noisy hob filter by aqua clear with this filter and I am very pleased with it. It is very quiet and I really like the amount of media it can hold. Hopefully it will last for years to come.

This filter is great,you do have the extra costs of media and filter floss and a decent pump,but once everything is established, "figure about it".This thing will have your water crystal clear and you will see a change in your fish being honestly Happy and Healthy! Cant recomend it enough!
This is the best Turtle filter I have had thus far I have tried many and they all failed this is the first canister and my water has been clear for the first time. I don't know about the other canisters but this one works one red ear slider turtle with clear water finally. It's been 1 month I've had one water change haven't touched the filter water still clear the turtle's happy and I'm happy. get the right setups if you plan on keeping a turtle it is a whole lot of work without the right stuff. I still have a 20gal. 75 gal is recommended and we will upgrade later but for now we're all happy campers.
It's extremely quiet. You have the option of having the water comes out of a spray bar or a spout. So far the water is clear but we have only been using this for less than a month. The Company is in USA and doesn't have a 1-800 # to contact, however, they were very responsive to our email inquiries. Very pleased so far.
Just got this canister filter for my red eared slider, so far I am happy with the price, the warranty and how fast it was delivered. I will edit to add more if I can, after I get it set up and running.
BEST serve EVER!!!!!! Walmart you recovered. Order the item on Sunday and received the product on Monday a Holiday! Set up in 2hrs and the fish were very thankful
