I love this stuff! It's a great value and the birds really like this over other economy feeds. I'd rather pay a little more and make the birds happier. I get a lot more variety now too and all the birds have been eating this for months and they look very healthy. Squirrels and Groundhogs love it too.
The birds love these!!! I have the Merlin app loaded on my phone so I know what birds are coming, and they all love these seeds. I will get a smaller bag next time, this was heavy for me.
I usually get this product but with meal worms but they were out! this was a perfect replacement until i can order with meal worms… i had to add a $25! bag of meal worms.
None of the birds at my feeders will eat the small brown seeds and over 80% of the 40 lb bag was these seeds. There was very little of the small white millet that the birds love. That means I had so much wasted seeds that I had to throw out of my feeders. It looked like they were too hard for them to eat. This has been the case with the last 3 bags I have bought. Not going to do it again and will return the bag I just got.
The birds in my yard love this seed mix. It even attracts painted buntings. However, beware of bug infestations! The first bag I bought lasted me 10 months and didn't have any issues with bug infestations. The second bag I bought lasted 2 months before a weevil infestation broke out, waisting over half the bag of birdseeds.
Terrible product, pieces of wood and paper inside bag mixed with the bird seed. Barely any good seeds, most of it was full of filler. Don't waste your money!
75% of the bird seed was sticks and sand spurs! This isn't the first time i've had issues with the birdseed. Another purchase of this exact item about 10 months ago was full of corn which attracts rats!! I will never again by this brand of birdseed!
Terrible seed— 95% Milo, which isn't even listed … white millet is. The birds won't eat the round reddish Milo balls and toss them out looking for edible seed (of which there is little). Even the squirrels won't eat the Milo seed — it is just a mess on the ground. Waste of money.
This is the second bag that doesn't have any sunflower seeds in it. The last bag I kept because I thought it was a fluke, but now that the second bag has none I'm definitely taking it back and I will not buy it any longer. I used to love this bird seed because it had such a great mixture and the big sunflower seeds and so therefore this is false advertising now and I will not buy anymore. Look at the picture and see for yourself.
I have bought this bag in the stores for years. I had Cardinals, Blue Jays, Chickadees, Sparrows, and Doves. I even set aside some sunflower seeds for the squirrels. The last bag I ordered had no Millet, but Lots of Milo. And the sunflower seeds were greatly reduced. I checked the bags in the store and they were the same. The birds leave the Milo. They don't like it, and they don't like this blend at all! I rarely have birds coming now, which is so sad. Even the young babies stopped coming, and the squirrels too. The blend shown in the round circle of the Description is what it used to be. You can clearly see through the bag that it is not the same blend. This has loads of Milo. Few Sunflower seeds, and rarely any Millet. I guess you changed manufacturers or the recipe, but the birds aren't eating it. PLEASE Go Back to the Blend in your Pictured Description!! (More Millet %26 Sunflower seeds. Little to none of the Milo.) It's not letting me upload my pictures, but this pic is in the Description. Just add Lots of brown Milo, a Lot Less Millet %26 Sunflower seeds, and that's what's in the bags now.
