Great feeder at a great price. Had no problem putting the corn in the feeder. The feeder is designed where the squirrel can't get the corn cob out. I got mine at a lower price than amazon or any other websites. Very happy with the feeder. Easy to hang.
The squirrels Love it.
This works much better than a different one I had. This one has a bar across the top and a better clamp to keep the corn in. Makes it harder for the squirrel to eat it and more entertaining to watch.
Call me dumb but I cannot figure out how to close this thing. In the 21st century you would think we could easily find the product makers website, and there would be some instructions but it was difficult finding the website (pennington = central) and then no place to find instructions. I cannot be the only one with a problem reattaching it, and NO CLEAR PHOTO anywhere showing the mechanism when it is full and closed.
Boug h t this to slow the squirrels down, but they reied it once and completely avoid the corn now. They can't rea c h the kernals
I have used this product for some time. The squirrels really liked it, that is until just recently I noticed a squirrel on it and the corn was gone, so I walked over to put a new cob in and the squirrel didn't run off so fast, as I approached him closer he did finally leave. When I went to refill it I noticed fur I thought poor baby got his fur caught, Then noticed the tree all chewed up, wow what is this , only to check closer in horror that poor squirrel was going crazy in pain, his toe was stuck in those close coiled wires at the bottom and as he bolted it wasn't just fur stuck his whole toe , nail and all was broke off at the bone. I am still shook up, I feel so sorry for that poor bb, .I will never use any type of product like this ever again. So please think twice as that poor squirrel must have been in so much pain. There are many different type cob holders that would be a much wiser choice .
