I love the birds so feeding them is a no brainer. This suet cake lasts quite long even though I have birds (and a few squirrels) on it almost 80% of the time and some rain. The key I think is to have the proper feeder to hold the suet cake (protected from the rain and somewhat the squirrels). I have found that Walmart has the lowest price on this product so that is why I continue to purchase it in the store. The picture is about 2 weeks after putting the product out.
This is the best seed for my backyard birds. They don't like a lot of suet and this is perfect. I have to cut it down for my small backet feeder, but I figured that oit so all is good.
The birds in our yard love this bird block better than any other.
