This camera is an excellent value. It's basic price is great and it is backwardly compatible with every Pentax lens ever made. You can get some good deals on older lenses if you hunt around, although you should research the internet on how to use them correctly. The camera takes great pictures out of the box, although there is a steep learning curve if you want to get all you can out of it. The only thing that is a partial problem with the camera is its weight. It's heavy. I think that is due to the weatherproofing and general solid build quality, but you do have to get used to carrying it around all day.
This camera is very nice. I have always had Pentax cameras but not a digital yet. It has all the features I want with plenty of options for add-ons. I am very pleased with the camera, case, and lens. Shipping was very reasonable and delivered in a timely.
I really like this camera and also the deal that I got from Walmart. The web site was accurate in the description and the price was fantastic.
The K20D is a wonderful piece of workmanship. It took a while to get familiar with all the functions and I am still learning as I go . I really enjoy the clarity and sharpness of all the photos I've taken. I'm looking forward to taking many more photos of family and the beautiful outdoors.
I haven't had this camera long enough to learn all it can do or really put it through it's paces but so far I am quite pleased. One of the main reasons I chose this particular camera is the fact that I own some older Pentax lenses from my film shooting past. These older lenses can be used with this camera. Even putting aside the fact that I can now use hunderds of dollars worth of old lenses that I was ready to sell in a garge sale for a few bucks, the Pentax K20D is a great choice. Amateur, advanced amateur and pro alike should love it. I take a lot of landscapes but also like to take low light pics and can handhold in low light with the k20D.
After owning Pentax film cameras for years I thought it was time to buy this K20D. What a great camera. And I can use all my old film lenses. It took a while to figure out the software setting on the camera to allow the old lenses, but it works fine now. The lens that came with the camera is fast and sharp. I am very pleased with the camera and cost.
Great camera for a photographer. Many advanced features, Maybe to advanced for a novice user or someone who wants a point and shoot camera.
After searching a lot of cameras at a lot of online stores I selected the Pentax K20D. When I got my hands on it I knew right away it was the best choice, and getting it online at Walmart was the best way to get it. Walmart has the best reputation and it was shipped when they said it would be. I really would trust Walmart with future purchases. The camera is so great I almost can't put it down. I really love this camera and I am happy I chose the Pentax K20D and I am very happy with Walmart!!!
I love this camera. It is easy to use and the pictures are outstanding. My only Problem is dealing with Pentax Customer Support Team. They don't have a clue about how to redeem my extended warranty card. Other than that I love this camera.
Once you have this camera in your hand you know it's Class A. I waited for months and researched many cameras, since I have always used Pentax when the D20 came along I made the decision to buy. I'm glad I did.
