Chicken was delivered with an acceptable cold'ish temperature? I guess? That is kind of the "danger zone" for bacteria to grow. Walmart please add ice to all cold products delivered and especially to the meats!! That is why I rated it 3 stars instead of 5. In Texas, especially in summer, temperatures are the 100. No ice with cold produce means dangerous bacteria build up!
When this chicken started going on the shelves a couple years ago, I really liked it and was glad to see new options but this past two times I've ordered this chicken, there's something off about the texture like they cut it wrong? It was falling apart on me and the top layer would separate from the inside. It left it a very weird texture when eating it. It also, even after drying the chicken off from the packaging, would continue to get slimy when cutting it up. It grossed me out as this isn't something it use to do in the past.
This chicken had a terrible texture. It was cooked properly, but it felt rubbery. I also found pieces of bones in the chicken once I cut it up.
The driver kept my chicken and I was supposed to be making chicken Alfredo for my kids now we can't eat anything
The chicken was odd-looking and had an off color in spots. The expiration date was 8 days away with no smell, but didn't look normal at all. Super disappointed!! The picture is what i cut off!
Shreds like spaghetti. I use to buy this all the time for me and my dog and neither one of us will eat it now. Disgusting, I kept buying it, thinking I just got a bad batch it was all bad. I will not be buying it any more
Even in the crockpot on low this chicken was tough. One piece out of the entire package was shreddable.
This chicken came with a sell by date that was over by 1 day and it was discolored they told me to make a return, but it went in the garbage!
When shopping please select meat that does not expire immediately. Try to find example chicken breast that does expire next day.
I did not get what I ordered. The chicken that was substituted looks like it was used as a punching bag. I was not advised of the substitution and did not agree to get this.
