My 6 year old is a huge fan of these fuse beads. She can stay focused these projects for hours. She especially loves the colors and shape-trays included in this particular bucket. I was worried she would get impatient or frustrated with the tedious action of placing beads, but she enjoys it tremendously, especially when someone else is working alongside her. I now am giving these as birthday gifts because they are so much fun and such a great price!

Item arrived on time and in good condition. I bought this for my 2 year old kid. It is unconventional for a kid that young... but our kid has quite advanced fine motor skills (for her age)... she loves picking really small fuzzies off the carpet using her index finger and thumb... we got this to see what she would do with these. She does not use the board (naturally)... but we also gave her some chennile pipe cleaners and watched her go! Stringing necklace after necklace and bracelets, headbands, anklets... She also loves scooping the beads from the big plastic container (using a small ice-cream scoop from her pretend play kitchen set) into several of her (pretend play) kitchen pots and pans - and feeding her daddy and mommy all sorts of great dishes!!!
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter 7 months ago and she still enjoys using it. She loves the bright colored beads and the flower, star, and butterfly shapes. We really do not use the tweezers but you may find them helpful. Her little hands navigate the beads just fine. I really enjoy this because she will sit and focus on this project for an extended period of time which is great! The beads iron together fairly easily and it is a great reward for the time she puts into making it.
Great product, at a great price. My girls love doing this and it keeps them entertained for hours! Will be buying again when we run out of beads!

I like that the kit has a theme in it, "sunny days" I wish it would have came with the basic template shapes too though.
