So I got this for my hubby as a v-day gift with our son's full name on it. It just arrived today and I was completely shocked. I did read some reviews where others had said the engraving was dull (kinda one of the reason why I wanted to get this) but when I got my today you can see it very noticable. The metal is very very heavy too which is nice means it's not cheap. Oh, I can't wait to give it to him.
I bought this for a family member who had just lost a loved one... it was of good quality... and the engraving was done very well. Exactly as I expected. It has a pretty hefty weight though... and the chain that comes with it is very dainty... it's also only 18 inches! Hangs just below the collar bone on a woman. We had to replace it with a much stronger one. $5 more and we were good to go. So if you dont mind an extra purchase... this is a good choice. And for $30 I cant complain.
Nice but needs a better chain. Would have liked to have be aware how flimsy the chain was before purchase, it was for a Valentines day gift and didn't have time to regroup on the chain.
It wasnt quiet wat i expected, it was quiet small but the engravings were beautiful. the chain seems a little weak but replacing that wont be too much of a problem. I got this for my best friend in the army so i might have to replace the chain to a more sturdy one.
It was nice engraving but the dog tag was smaller than expected and leave fingerprints on the tag and makes it look greasy and messy from your skin. Even leaving in on your chest will make it look dirty
i thought it was going to be a bit bigger and i could hardly see the engravings since it was soo dark. i felt i spent to much for this little thing the only thing i liked about it was the thickness!
I ordered this item for my son from his sons for Christmas, I place the ordered and reviewed the personalization before I hit the order button, when it came, my oldest grandsons name was misspelled, now I have to find some place that can fix it, I wanted to return it but I don't want to go through the trouble of sending it back, for I really want my son to have and enjoy his Christmas gift.
For $40 I expected a little more than the cheap little chain it came with. Spent another $40 to get a decent chain for it.
