OK I have to say this product works amazingly! We always have had issues with sweet ants poor people also call them pissants. Every year! But since we put these in and we put two of them in our home, we have not seen one ant. Go figure! Love it
I have had this since July of 2013. It definitely works very well. It does take a few weeks before realizing its effectiveness. I started seeing German cockroaches in places I have never seen them, as if they were trying to get away. As the product says, a rare rodent may show up from time to time, but they are greatly reduced. If only my apartment had this unit in the lobby area where there have been many cockroaches, it may help to reduce them. I live on the 7th floor, so roaches have been the only problem. I cannot speak for any consumers who live on the first floor. I also cannot speak for any rodents other than German Cockroaches as I have no experience to share. The lights on the product are bright, so you may want to place the product in a spot where the lights will not bother you. Mine is under the dining room table. I only have one unit, and my apartment is less than 750 square feet. Great product and I highly recommend it.
How do you measure the effectiveness of a device that emits a sound you can't hear and an electronic pulse you can't hear or see or feel? It's been plugged in for about 2 weeks now. My dog caught and killed a rat and that's the last one I've seen signs of. There seems to be less noise in the ceiling from squirrels in the attic. Hard to tell if it's the device or weather change. Too early in the season for bugs to be a problem. I guess more time is needed for my review to be very valid.
We have heard scratching in an outside wall and attic for a long time. We had several people come out only to tell us they could not find anything. An exterminator that specializes in rodents wanted $450 just to "look around." At this point I was willing to try anything so I bought 2. I put one in the garage and one in the spare bedroom in the middle of the 2nd floor, and so far have not heard anything at all. Now I am hoping that because it is getting hot out they have not vacated for the summer, so I will know for sure in the fall. But we had a ton of spiders in the garage and they are gone, we left the screen door open during a BBQ and did not have a ton of bugs in the house. Our neighbors still have carpenter bees and ours are gone, so far so good.
I think this product has made a difference. I live in the woods and absolutely love it! Lately though a small creature has been getting into my bread! I finally placed bread on top of refrigerator in a bag and this worked for 2 days then creature returned! I now have bread in my den and so far all is well.
So far, almost two weeks in, pretty much useless. I've actually started using old school traps and they are the only thing that's worked consistently. Likely to return this unless I see results.
I don't even know why I have this to review. I never had this delivered to me. And I thought it was refunded back to me. So why is in my history as being purchased? OMG. The driver Leann left 2 empty bags. I say empty because it only had a pair of pant in one and the 2nd bag had a red jogging suit. That was all that she dropped off. I had ordered 9 things ….. but she only got 2 things. My tracking informed me as they picked the item. I was really happy when they picked up the Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies. I was confirmed the items and charged for. How can a delivery driver miss no food in my bag. And it's not common for people to order a mini heater and an electric rodent repellent. These unique items should have been an indication that something is wrong with my order. Unbelievable she took a picture of the 2 empty bags she dropped off. What if I had requested her to hand deliver what would she have done. I got the runaround for bout an hour customer refunded but I had ordered food and a heater I was cold and hungry. I had forgotten to cancel the delivery tip. Then when I decided to wear the pant I realized it was the wrong size. Today I was going to have delivered some laundry detergent but when I was getting ready to checkout I remembered the horrible experience I had the last time with my delivery and decided not to go through that hassle again. I know my blood pressure went up because it's up now just by making me think about the incident. I don't think I'll ever trust Walmart delivery again too much stress not worth it. I could pick up myself quicker and accurately saving time and peace of mind. Also I think and hope I got refunded for all 7 missing items IDK. The whole process is very chaos and not clear. Especially trying to contact customer service delivery department to report mistakes and driver never told me I had to contact driver. To get below text. Crazy crazy crazy delivery service. From start to finish. Yes please contact me if you want. Just no telemarketer thanks
This things does not work. AT ALL. I plugged it in about a month ago and have seen more activity with rats eating through the cloth on something I use for back pain. I don't know if it drives them crazy or what, but last night I actually saw a big fat rat scurrying across my floor for the first time in my life. It was then I decided to just hire a professional. Save your money with this Tom foolery. It doesn't work.

Truth is I have tried everything. From homemade remedies, boric acid, a variety of bug sprays, powders, gels, granules, even hired professional help, deep cleaned my house, and now these devices. Problem is I've had these devices plugged in my 1300 SF home for over a month. And my bug population seems to have grown. I purchased 3 of these and then 3 of a different brand that are a little smaller. I don't suggest spending your money on these devices as they seem to no longer be effective but honestly I don't really know what is effective in evicting these creepy crawlers anymore. They seem to be immune and have developed some ultra bionic resistance.
