I have been using PetArmor for the last 6 months for both my dog and cat and it has worked every bit as good as Frontline for half the price! My pets don't run and hide from it like they do Frontline either. Love it and have recommended it to family members.
This product (when used faithfully) works! I've been using this product for nine years and no fleas or ticks. I briefly switched to the Plus and tried in the other expensive brand and my dog had a bad rash from whatever is in the Plus version in any brand. Oral pills make her sick. Please don't ever stop making the regular version. It's getting hard to find in stores.
I have purchased the PetArmor to compare against Advantage. They have the same active ingredient so I am hopeful that it will fare as well as the advantage at a much better cost. As of this review I haven't used it yet so I will have to review it later. This page required me to fill in the ratings values so I simply rated the product excellent based on my expectations. If I feel differently after my next review I will make the appropriate changes at that time.
Keeps our dog free from fleas and ticks and has a decent price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Using the product for over a year now. Four dogs of different sizes and breeds to include both males and females. No issues. Easy to apply. No side effects. The product has made their lives happy and healthy during the hot summer flea and tick season. Recommend rest in a cool quiet indoor area for twelve hours after application. Your pet can then run and play...even go for a swim. Great Product ...Vet Approved.
I have used the more expensive stuff for years but still had problems controlling the fleas actually it did almost nothing for one of dogs and did ok for the others. This stuff was wonderful my smaller dog has no fleas at all and the bigger dogs had very few. It really worked great for tics too I will never pay high prices again
I don't see the scratching and I was checking them out tonight and so far so good! I hope it works as I'm hoping! Seems to be...I'll let you know later....LOL BR in Fl I would love to give a five star but I have to make sure....Lots of dogs, so trust me I will know the facts!
Tried natural route, but we live in the woods, needed more help. Seems to work as well as Frontline. Seems to keep fleas away and helps slow down the ticks. We still flea comb our mini schnauzer every morning after our big walk, no longer any fleas and just occasional ticks that we find early or find dead or dying. She seems to handle the drug well, no noticeable problems with it, just a little messy, but seems better than using a product where you expect the dog to be bitten in order to kill the bugs.
I've always kept my dogs treated as well as my yard. I purchased 3 boxes of the XL because they were on sale. Used this product on my dog for the first time and a couple of days later he had a vet appointment wellness check and I be darned if he didn't come home with fleas! Now I'm stuck with 3 boxes of useless garbage :(
I bought this flea and tick treatment for my pug a few months ago. We just moved to a heavily wooded area and saw some really great reviews on this so, I decided to try it. Two weeks ago I gave my dog the third treatment and last night I found a tick embedded on her back. I am so disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone.
