Quality product. We didn't even screw it in, and works fine. Flap is a little sturdy for my cats to come through so I replaced with a clear shower curtain liner square and works perfect (suggestion!). Also instead of using the black seal strip, I just used a foam weather strip and works great (in Florida so no cold weather).
The petsafe patio pet door is everything I expected- super easy to install, height quality, and great value for money. Both and cat have been using it successfully.

Bought this for our Aussie and the long days were at work. He loves it! I've even seen the cats use it a few times. The installation was a little funky. My slider has pieces of metal in the door jam and top rail, so the dog door can't sit flush. Currently, for the dog door to be flush against my slider, I had to pull the bottom far enough away from the door jam that I can't screw it in. There isn't enough of the dog door to grab. I still need to work on that, but otherwise it's fabulous!
This is my second (new location), doggy door In 3 years I have purchased from this company. These are well crafted, durable and well priced doors. I am using this new sliding glass dog door in my new apartment along with a purchased grass patch and my senior dog can easily use the bathroom at night and I can stay comfy in my bed instead of a 3am walk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the Freedom Aluminum Patio Panel up to 80 11/16 inches for Large dogs in White color. When I first pulled it out of the box i thought it was a little to big for my sliding door but its adjustable and fits perfectly in the frame. Very simple to install. Quick and easy. i would say that the size of the door is more for a medium dog though. But other then that its wonderful, We LOVE IT!!! Thank you for a great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing allows us to shut our patio door without having to do anything major as far as construction goes. It just slots in to existing sliding doors with zero issues that we've had so far.
I was disappointed that I had to pay a handy man to install this because it requires you to drill into your door frame. They should include more weather stripping because it was needed. The style of lock could break the glass so that's kinda dumb. But a piece of wood in the door is just as good so oh well. But other than it's a good quality and good looking door. I'd recommend this but only if I could include these warnings. The impression I got when shopping around is this is pretty much as good as it gets. None of the dog doors I looked at had (very many or) very bad reviews.
