Great fitting replacement. Ours was worn out and it was so easy to reframe and position the new unit.
Changed form sliding door panel with single flap to thru the wall double flap. Easy installation. Took my Beagles a little while to accept the double flap but within 24 hours they were flying in and out like always.
Easy to install, dog learned to go in and out in one afternoon!
The PetSafe doggie door is great. The dual flaps are great for reducing the heat from coming in when it is so hot in FLorida. Very sturdy and fits many widths of wall. I highly recommend this door.
We purchased a home that had an older version of this door... it was clearly very old and still worked but needed replaced. This worked perfectly we took parts from the old door to fix our second door now both are 100%. Our 15 pound dog is easily able to use the door and the double flap configuration works great in the Arizona 115 degree heat.
This product was super easy to place and works like a charm. I have a puppy so have taken off the flaps for a few weeks to get her used to the change.
Best thing I ever put in for the dogs. I had a doggie door for years and had to squeeze out the patio door all the time. Now I have the freedom of the patio door back. Took a Half hour to install and looks and works grear.
This is my 2nd PetSafe dog door. The first one took a beating for 11 years. The new door is even better quality and was easy to switch out. Great products!
My dog Bandit loves his dog door. I put in a small 5 1/2 years ago for him at our old house, so he is used to having one. This new door is a medium. Bandit is a dachshund so I was concerned about the door being too big or heavy. Nope, he bolts through it just fine. The instructions were very clear and the door looks great. My wife is great at chalking, which made the door look even better. Very satisfied with this PetSafe dog door.
Dog door seems to work as intended. The reason for four stars is due to the fact that nothing was included for insulation (ie soft foam strip or tape to stick to the back outside edge of the door in order to prevent outside air from seeping from behind the door edges).
