I wanted something different than I've had for the last 20 years. These are beautiful and are the great stoneware I expect from Pfaltzgraff. I like the color and pattern. Very happy with them.
This is a very pretty pattern. This set fits very well with my shabby chic decor.
I had wanted to order the Seraphina dinnerware set, service for 16 so planned on ordering 4 sets. After reading several reviews mentioning flaws, cracks or breakage in shipping, I decided to order 5 sets to cover for any breakage. All 5 sets arrived with no cracks, chips, or breaks! I'm still keeping the extra box because I absolutely LOVE the lace designs and perfect soft blue color! Also love the "sturdiness" of the plates and mugs! We received so many compliments during our Easter dinner served on our beautiful new dinnerware. Thank you Pfaltzgraff!
Beautiful set, gorgeous detail
So pretty, the lacy pattern reminds me of tea parties and spring brunches, baby showers and Easter dinners. I combined it with my white dinnerware and it looks fresh as clean linen sitting on a simple white tablecloth. I prefer the more dimensional color of a reactive glaze to a flat blue glaze, very chic and casual. Please start building some serving pieces into this new pattern, starting with a big teapot! I plan to include Seraphina in my celebrations for many years.
This is a classic design and works well for formal and informal affairs EXCEPT for the fact that the workmanship is poor. For instance, small paint globs often show up on the outside of plates and with regular use the insides of bowls and cups are filled with grey stains from rubbing by spoons which are not removeable. You cannot purchase replacements individually and there are no platters larger serving bowls, etc. available.
I received 2 sets of dishes. Most if not all of the plates were defective with dark blue glaze splatter stains, mismarked/blurry patterns, drastically different colors from one plate to the next. The mugs and bowls weren't as bad. I am receiving a replacement order. We'll see how that one looks when it arrives. It's such a shame because the style is great.
Very unhappy with this shipment. I ordered a set plus two additional bowls. Every single piece has imperfections and/ or paint issues. They do not match the first set that I purchased. I'm not sure if this is a bad lot or if quality has declined. I experienced the same issue (previously) with a different pattern of dishes. I will be returning these because they look like seconds. Sadly disappointed because they were desperately needed.
I have been waiting for a ajustment with one of my orders, witch I think these dishes are seconds or send the item back as defective, my fith contact with no results.
My order just arrived. What a horrible disappointment! 3 of the 4 salad plates are broken. The dinner plates are a darker color from the rest of the set. And one of the dinner plates has a glazing defect. I planned to use these on Monday when I have company arriving. Now I'm stuck. I have been a Pfaltzgraff customer for over 10 years and this is my first bad experience. Hoping I can get this resolved with customer service.
