Sturdy, attractive, compact and functional. This bag is perfect for traveling. If you don't pack it too tightly it is small enough to call it a personal item as you board the plane. If you fill it fully and pack it tightly it serves as a carry on and fits nicely under the seat or in the overhead compartment. It has two smaller side pockets for personal items or items you need to be readily accessible. A large center compartment and a full size lower compartment allow you to carry two or three days clothing if needed. The compartments are lined with a water resistant material that allows you to protect your items as you travel. A nice touch is the two large zippered compartments have double pulls so you can lock them with your own lock if you wish. At any rate it is a perfect travel bag for either a man or a woman traveler.
This travel bag far exceeded my expectations! Not only does it look high end and sleek, it is made extremely well. Even down to the details, there are no flaws. I love how I can have two separate sections, but also it look nice and all in one! Perfect for weekend trips!
The Protégé weekender bag is an amazing little bag. I enjoy the large bottle pocket for your shoes. It has several other pockets as well. I like that it's easy to clean, and stylish enough for those on a budget.
I am absolutely in love with my new Travel Bag. It is not online beautifully designed and stylish, but also extremely well made, resistant, lightweight and the perfect size to fit all my needs for a short trip. I received so many compliments during a weekend trip with family and friends and friends. Everyone one wanted to know where I bought it from.
This bag is everything! I have been looking for a great bag to take one. I don't need a ton of stuff, but still want to have enough room for all the essentials. The Protege bags are always so functional and such great quality. So to start off it has a handle that you can put over your shoulder with a padded section, but it also has two sturdy handles to carry it by the top of the bag. The bottom section unzips, and has a smaller section for carrying easy to access items. I envisioned, carrying my laptop and things like jeans and pants that would fall nicely in that type of section. the top opens like a traditional duffel bag with a great amount of space. There is an inside pocket to hold smaller items. The service inside feels like you could wipe it out if some things to build in it. There are also zippered pockets on the outside and it has one of those sleeves that can help you carry it on your suitcase arm. I love that it has gold details and has cute little feet to keep it off the ground. Overall I am really pleased with the bag.
This 21 inch gym bag or weekender duffle bag with drop bottom is really nice. The Generous upper zip compartment has room for plenty of clothes. The Lower zip drop bottom compartment is great for sliding my roll up exercise mat into. This bag is perfect for weekends also I put a dryer sheet in the drop down for smells from shoes or putting used clothing in to be washed. I love the zip pockets on the front, back and inside that keeps your keys, cards and valuables safe. No dropping out. Super nice with an easy clean surface. It is nice to have double stitching on the handles and adjustable, sturdy and comfortable clip on shoulder strap for hands free carrying. The pocket up front which is open behind is perfect when going to the gym and sliding my jacket through or my clip on water bottle . I am loving this bag. Plus it is really made well. The only thing about it that I wish was different is the drop bottom. I wish it would zip up flat instead of hanging Down all the time but so far I have always had shoes in it going to the gym and weekending.
This weekender bag is so fancy. It's off white with gold hardware. The bottom of the bag has a zipper along the bottom where you can fit at least 3 pairs of shoes. It has a zipper on the side to fit IDs and passports. It also has a space on the side where you can slide in your luggage handle. Bag has a removable shoulder strap as well. Bag is super spacious and can't wait to use it next month
I ordered a black one but ended up getting a white one. No biggie. The white one is very pretty in person. Size is decent. Not over large but large enough to hold enough clothes and items for a few days. I especially love the different compartments. The bottom portion is perfect for separating and carrying shoes. Also great that there are two handles plus a shoulder strap which makes it versatile. Added bonus for the slit to allow it to go onto luggage. I docked a star because the quality isn’t that great and won’t last very long.
This duffel is what I call a "just right size" It is large enough for an overnight stay and will hold your personal items. The handles and carrying handles are pretty well made but the bag itself is a polyester material, therefore not giving the bag the strong construction it would need to carry most heavy items. I would not suggest using it for air travel. The drop bottom is perfect for your shoes or anything that's okay to be on the bottom. One nice feature is the zipper pockets on each side of the bag, as one is a zipper pocket and the other is a zipper pouch. This is an inexpensive duffel bag so that is what you're getting, but for the price it will fit nicely in the trunk.
I have mixed feelings about this Protégé 21” Drop-Bottom Polyester Weekender Duffel Bag. It came filled with paper so it would keep its shape and look like a filled bag. But once you took out the paper it didn't look so great. It just looks flat and slouchy. I suppose if it's a duffel bag it would look that way but it sure isn't appealing. If the bag were stiffer, it would keep its shape better. The sides are made of a polyester material. The handles feel nice and sturdy to grab onto it with. There are a number of compartments in this bag. Inside it has a zipper side pouch (as shown in my picture). There is a zipper pouch on the front and the back of the bag. And it also has a drop bottom storage compartment at the bottom of the bag. It is not very deep, and I would be afraid to put make-up or personal hygiene products in there because all the weight from above could break them. So, I would probably use it for small clothing items. The sides of the drop bottom should be stiff and firm in my opinion so that it would prevent items from being damaged below. Then it would be a great little storage area. It weighs 2 lbs. and should be wiped clean. It easy to store because it is soft and can be put into a small space until using it. This bag has a shoulder strap so you can carry it that way if you don't want to carry it with your hands, so it frees you up. The strap it adjustable in length also. This would be a good bag for an overnight stay of a few days It would be a good kid's overnight bag. You could put their stuffed animals in the bottom and clothes in the top. There is quite a bit of room in the top section. The dimensions of the bag are: 9.5" (D) x 20.5" (L) x 12" (H). After trying a number of ways to pack this bag I used the whole bag for my blow dryer, makeup, hair products, soap, and personal items and I took it as a carry on so the items didn't get damaged (due to the non-supported sides). You could use this bag a number of ways. *One thing you might not notice because it is at the very bottom of the description is that there is a WARNING; that this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. That makes one hesitate no matter what state you live in. So, if you are pregnant or still in the process of having kids this might be a concern to you. And the cancer aspect is also a concern to most people. I honestly don't think I would recommend this bag.
