I love having the Advent bottles and these are just replacement nipples to help my daughter who has reflux
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to say I think it's very helpful to have a different variety of nipples to help feed and make a comfortable feeding for the baby. My baby did not have a specific flow rate but I did notice he likes to eat slow. This nipples were a god send because the first day I used them they helped my babies colic so quick and he was at ease. Yes my baby loved the nipples flow because it was at his eating pace. I would like to say thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel! For giving me an opportunity to try these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As my baby just turned a month old today, we haven't had a lot of use wit these nipples just yet. We are however still using the nipples that come with the bottle and these will come in handy as we switch out nipples on our bottle set in the coming days and increase the flow of milk as he grows. I love the slim profile of these nipples and the realistic nature of them as I also breastfeed and we were looking for a bottle with a nipple that limited confusion. Also my little one has very small features so the other avent bottles and nipples we used for our older kids just do not work for him right now.
Package came perfect and everything was wrapped up as well as in there cases. My baby drank just fine with them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Phillips Avent Anti-Colic baby bottle nipples as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. I was not expecting to love these bottles as much as I did! I loved having so many options for the nipple flow, I believe it helped my baby transition over to the bottle. I also think the flow options helped in preventing gas and burping, because we were able to find the flow that worked best for him. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with a gassy/colicky baby.
it is to use by my toddler
I had a hard time opening the package and ended up putting a hole in of the nipples when I opened package with a knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 2 pack of nipples that I received as part of a Stellar Testing Paneland the bottles they came with are are a great option for our baby. It is really helpful to have the options of different flow rates as the baby grows and can drink more milk. And the anti-colic mechanism on the bottle paired with these nipples keeps milk in the nipple even as you tilt the bottle horizontally. The nipples are also really easy to clean which is a huge plus. All in all it's a pretty good product that I would recommend to any other parent.
Number 1 is too slow of a flow for my 8 week old but the number 2 is too fast, she still uses it she's just very messy..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I actually registered for some on my baby registry and hadn't opened them yet so these were perfectly timed. I'm glad I got to test these out because now I'm able to exchange the ones I was gifted! I was using another well known brand but noticed the bottles seemed to leak and my 3wk old baby was spitting up. So when I got these I switched over right away. I followed all the directions and filled the nipple before feeding. It held all the milk perfectly and I was hopeful that he would suck in less air. The first 3 feeds seemed perfect. The spit ups lessened and I didn't notice any leaking from the bottles. The only thing I did notice was that he seemed to finish the bottle much quicker than before. I thought no big deal. Then the problems started. Future feeds were followed by a lot of spit ups in large quantities. I noticed the nipples no longer stayed full when you fill it up and they actually leaked when you first fill them. Thats when I finally realized the flow was way too fast on the nipples. That's why he was finishing so quickly and likely why he was having more spit ups and leaking as he was feeding. All super frustrating for a breast pumping momma. My husband and I made sure we followed all the directions and used the bottles appropriately. I attached pictures of the parts and the nipple leaking water. (I didn't want to waste any more precious milk). You can see that the nipple leaks when you invert it to fill it with liquid and then you can see that it DOESN'T hold the liquid in the nipple like it's supposed to when you turn the bottle back upright. The only good thing about these bottles is the ease of cleaning compared to other anti colic bottles. This only came with the single piece that drops in to the bottle. It has a couple of small parts to it but they were easy to clean with a small brush. Definitely easier than the multiple parts of the competition. But DEFINITELY not worth the trade off. We went back to the other brand after a week of wasting milk and we haven't turned back since. I would not recommend committing to this full set without trying a smaller pack first. If it works for your baby and it doesn't leak, great for you! It just didn't work for us after the first few feeds.
