This trimmer was the only one that took the customer's point of view in imaginative engineering and ease of use. Almost all of the others had "Forks" that had to be snapped on and off to control the the cut's length. Only Phillips evidently used this trimmer before sending to market, to evaluate it from the customer's point of view. Excellent product engineering and value pricing. Roger LA
This works quietly and cuts your beard as close as .5mm despite the Norelco site saying it only went down to 1mm. I use it to get the stubble look like the rich movie stars :) You use a simple dial to adjust the cut you want from 10mm down to .5mm But it does trim my sideburns. I don't have a beard so cannot comment on this except that it looks effective for beard cutting and precise sculpting. Instructions say you must charge it for 10 hours before using it the first time. But mine came charged up and ready to go. Great value if you buy it at Walmart and even better value if you peruse the internet. Also thanks to Walmart reviews. It was difficult to find reviews and feedback on this item but I found them here
Excellent trimmer! Really trims nicely and tapers your beard to like neat and full. With the measuring guide off, the straight blade trimmer gives a nice clean cut when trimming your mustache above your top lip, and edging around your goatee. I love it...great value online.
I bought this razor because i haven't shaved in 2 months and I was nervous about going straight to a blade. After plugging in the razor it only took about 30 minutes to charge and was super easy to use. The adjustable settings (1,2,3,4,5,etc) were smooth to rotate between even after the first round of cutting my stubble. Most impressively none of the hair got caught or stuck so the entire shave from start to finish was smooth. Great product and would highly recommend.
To me what sets this apart from other beard trimmers is you can adjust it in increments of .5 mm instead of 1 mm like most trimmers. The trimmers also have rounded edges which glide smoothly over my face. No irritation. Great battery life. Only downside is if you want to shape your beard. I can't get a close shave with these if I wanted to shape a Goatee.
this trimmer feels very good in hand and works great... and i got it for 15 bucks only...amazon sells it for 35..which was a great deal...only disappointing thing was that store pickup was not available so i had to pay 5 bucks for shipping...
I have done a lot of research on trimmers and just returned one that didn't work well for me. It has 20 settings from 1 mm to a half of mm so i like the setting at 2.5 mm for my stubble and it goes up to 10 give you a total of 20 settings. It is not for a long think beard it is a stubble trimmer so disreguard the guy on here hating on the shaver with a grizzly Adams beard lol. It is what it said a stubble trimmer. You only have the one attachment to make all of the setting that is really nice and it comes right off if you want to close trim or clean the blade under water. It needs no oil that is really nice and its comes with extra 6 month warranty for 2.5 years from when you buy it. Great trimmer and I would recommend this to anyone. The only negative thing I would say it that it has no stand not a big deal. very awsome trimmer. thanks for reading
This is a great trimmer. I use it clean up my facial hair and leave a stubble look. It is honestly everything you are looking for minus the expensive price. The only negative thing is the charging time; but at the same time, for twenty bucks you can't expect everything to be the best. Overall, if you need a beard trimmer that is from a quality maker that is a reasonable price and will last you a long time, order right now.
I have only used this once so far and it seems like a good product, time will tell if it stays good. At the price you would think they would at least include a carry bag with it.
It just isn't a good trimmer. I previously had a Wahl one I purchased for around $30 that, in my opinion, was a lot better. With this one I can go over the same spot in the same direction 7-10 times and it is still cutting hairs. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I like.
