I've been using versions of the Philips Bodygroom for several years now. This model is even sturdier than past models, and even more ergonomic. It's perfect for the reason I use it, which is to remove body hair down to the skin level in those places that I want to have that kind of look.
I want to say that I've been using this product for over 8 years now Im on my 3rd body groomer. I have found that new groomer has a attachment that is a lot easier to access any tough to get to areas on my back. Also I am very happy with customer service department expediting groomer. Thank you.
I am a mature male over 70. I have hair growing on my body in places that I do not want and this for my use in the almost perfect groomer to keep my body hair free in the places I want. This is my 3rd body groomer over a 10 year period and once again with the improvements its my device of choice. I have tried others but always return to my Norelco Bodygroom.
the product is easy to use and does what it requires. the groomer doesn't knick you up like older products. it shaves very quickly and effortlessly. highly reccomend.
you just need be patient it takes about 3 weeks for your body to get adjusted. Once it does get ready for take off of a new and exciting experience. You will find the difference once it does. With its sleek handle and smooth blades you will feel the difference.
This product is great for removing body hairs, I have a lot of hair on my chest and stomach and with this product, I can remove it in less than 10, having no irritation to my sensitive skin. It works perfectly in the shower!!! Make sure to apply moisturiser after shaving, when hairs grow back, they do pull on your shirt which can become annoying... this product is perfect for a quick body shave or trim, including "down under" (make sure to go more slow while shaving there...) if time permits, use an actual bladed razor after the use of this product for a more silky look (don't forget the moistureiser)! I bought this body groomer to prevent shaving injuries in "more sensitive" areas. And it performs this role in an very good manner. It is a light, delicate shaver and should not be used for heavier shaving tasks with a lot of thick, coarse hair. But it performs beautifully for what I think it was designed for -- delicate shaving in delicate areas.
Feels great when in use just wish there was a better grip to prevent it from slipping from your hands.
I like the bodygroomer for its simplicity and multi-use on the body. I find it to work better out of the shower for overall hair cutting performance. It works great on my back, chest and I have a friend that uses it even on his thinly sparced face. I use it to even up my sideburns easily as well. This is a must have tool for the man to keep in his stash. It has a long battery life as well.
As a wolfman, I prefer to keep the canine coat to a minimum. However, I don't want a shaved body. A good trim is what I was looking for. This groomer is great for getting really close. Without the guards on it, it works like a charm for me. However, to try and trim some, well, rather thick hair on my chest, legs, etc, required 5-10 swipes. Very inefficient at that. Again, without the guard, cuts close, seems to be great. If you're looking for a trimmer to handle a year round winter coat, might want to beef it up a bit.
