The bodygroom is very easy to use and definitely does not create any pain while removing the hair, even on sensitive areas. The aluminum covered razors made a huge difference, compared to other products I have tried for hair removal. No pinching or pulling, just a clean shaven look. I was disappointed that it took me this long to try this, but now I am a fan for life. I used the product when dry, because I read other reviews that say using it wet can create pain and problems with the hair removal, so I'll stay with the dry shave option.
I use this product to shave my private area. Well, not so much shave as to keep things short and without getting out of hand. I can get the job done in a few minutes while in the shower. Highly recommend it. Only thing is that you should stretch the skin area you are working to avoid any pinching.

There isn't anything negative about my Norelco Bodygroom and I recommend it for anyone, men or women. The extension handle makes it easier for my fiance to shave her legs. I'm ordering another one for her.

I use this to keep my all of my upper torso hair below my neck trimmed short and uniform. Same for legs. Also use this to keep my entire mid region shaved smooth and down to skin with no stubble. This is to include entire genital region including all manly appendages. No issues there what so ever, just need to keep skin reasonably tight while shaving. Does not catch skin nor is it irritating. Does a nice job, both my wife and I enjoy the smooth look and feel. Would buy again. I run battery to full depletion each time and only hook up charger to depleted shaver. Excellent battery life so far. I use this unit dry only. That works for me.
This is the first body grooming product I have ever purchased and it has definitely met my expectations. It performs exactly as it was advertised to do. I find it hard to believe that there is a similar competetor's product on the market that can out perform this one by Philips Norelco.
Higher quality construction than the mangroomer line of products which are made of cheap plastic and don't work well. Easy to use. It's very convenient being able to flip the groomer over to shave or groom without having to change or remove parts. Battery lasts a long time for me but I'd prefer it wasn't nickel metal hydride since you need to wait until it completely discharges before recharging it. Overall it exceeds my expectations.

Even with the multi-directional feature and additional center foil, this took a lot of passes to get all the hairs and I felt like I had to work for it to get the job done especially if using in the shower. I did not use it for the groin, but I did feel very comfortable handling it elsewhere and I could see how it could provide confidence using it for the groin (just not sure how effective it would be for the same reasons above). With the added convenience of the back attachment, I was hoping I could replace my Philips OneBlade with this but it looks like I'll be switching back for now.
I've had it for less than a year, don't use it in the shower and maintain the shaver meticulously. However, there it sits, not charging and not turning on, useless. I even got a new charger base and a new charger cord. Nope. Its broken, 10 months of occasional use and its done for.
