These tinted lip treatments are affordable balms that offer nourishing ingredients with a bit of color. I love how soft my lips feel when wearing and they actually provide a good amount of color. These have vitamin E, shea butter & organic ingredients that moisturize lips. Their Berry & Gingersnap shades are my favorite. Such a great buy at the drugstore. Highly recommend!
I got the color gingersnap which enhances my natural lip color beautifully and compliments my complexion ( tan skin tone w/olive(neutral)undertone). I find it hydrates my lips perfectly and the fact that it's organic is so comforting. The tube is weighted which I love. It gives it a sturdy feel and I feel secure knowing it won't crack or bend out of shape and the top screws on so I don't need to worry about the cap sliding off.
This product applies just the right amount of tint to my lips, and leaves them feeling hydrated right away. It's not sticky like some lip tints can be, but it's also not as long lasting as higher end products. That wasn't much of an issue, though, because the cost was perfect. Honestly, this lip tint goes on so smooth and feels so nice that I prefer it now over the high end product I was using!
I liked this as a tinted lip balm. It went in very smoothly and definitely kept my lips moisturized, and the color was pretty without being overpowering. It made for a great day look, but I did find myself reapply frequently, especially after eating or drinking. The color was not opaque and was lighter than the actual stick once applied, but since it is marketed as a tinted lip balm rather than a lipstick or lip stain, this didn't bother me too much. For a nice beachy day look that keeps your lips feeling great, I would definitely recommend this product.
It's a good product. I'm a repeat buyer. But this one arrived unsealed, and the balm was smushed to one side of the tube.
This is very comfortable and moisturizing feeling. The color is pretty. It smells good. It's not super easy to put on; I wish the tinted lip balm had the same shape as a regular bullet lipstick so it'd have been easier to apply. I like how the packaging is that you have to twist it off instead of just pulling the lip off so it won't accidentally open in your purse or whatnot.
I was looking for an alternative to my fresh lip balm and went for this. The product feels very nice on my lips, makes them feel softer. However, I dont think the pink is flattering on my skin, I was expecting a sheer finish. Also, when you apply the product it has a gritty texture. I have been applying this and wiping it off to get the hydration benefits and slight color. I wont be purchasing again.
Mixed feelings I am looking for a tinted balm that's not too heavy like lipstick so I tried this. The color (love bite) is not subtle at all which I don't mind. It is dark like lipstick but very soft on the lips and stays hydrated. My only disappointment is that the product is very soft and mushy that it broke from the edge as soon as I used it. I cannot smoothly glide on my lips because it is broken so I just have to dab it gently or it will fall. Also the twist cap for some reason turns while I lock it so the top of the product is touching the cover making it more ruined. I don't know how else to explain but that is frustrating. Maybe I bought a damaged one I don't know. I would love to try another color but I'm scared this would happen again.
I have naturally pale lips so I love having a Touch of soft, natural color to pretty them up. Plus I live in Minnesota where the cold and wind can do a number on lip health. This seemed like the perfect solution! I bought this product in the Tawny Nude shade yesterday and couldn’t wait to put it on. I also loved the packaging! Then it touched my lips and all the excitement I had died. This product feels nice on my lips but the color is atrocious. It’s cakey looking and reminds me of the time I bought cheap lipstick from the dollar store. It’s way more opaque than a tint as well. It really looks like I’m wearing junky lipstick. From a distance it looks really good and the color is very pretty - but...it’s the worst tinted lip product I’ve ever purchased. And the most expensive as well. Sooo disappointing.
Big fan of Physicians Formula for decades. Bought tinted lip therapy Berry Me last week. It had been stuck into lid and the remaining "stick" is too soft to hold its shape. The color is intense. I'm not convinced of its therapeutic value. Continuing to test.
