After having two kids and being out of shape I wanted to ease back into a low impact workout routine but also get results. This DVD is great for starting out. The pace is perfect and it's easy to follow along. I've noticed a change in my waist and hips immediately after only 1 week of continuous use. It's only 35 minutes so I squeeze in a quick workout after I put the kids to bed. I've started alternating 2 nights pilates, 1 night brisk walking on the treadmill to add some variety.When I look for a tougher workout, I repeat the floor portion of the DVD. I highly recommend but stress it's probably best for beginners as a more experienced pilates enthusiast may find it to be too slow.
I'm using muscles that I've never used before.
This product was received in a very timely manner at our local WalMart and there were no pick up problem(s). Pilates for Dummies can easily be used by all ages, even senior citizens. It is easy to keep up with the moves, get a good workout and yet have fun while moving.
