Just back from having 4 of these installed on my 2006 Ford Taurus .This is my 1st experience buying tires @ Sam's It is too soon to rate the tires but I noticed a much better ride ; road contact , no noise . The tread depth and design is aggressive so hopefully they will handle Pa. winter snow and ice. I only have 26,000 mi. on car now and since I retired 14 yrs ago I have more miles on my tractor. I will update my review as times passes but the price was very reasonable, the assurance of Sam's lifetime* balance & rotation package is reassuring . Personal in my local Sam's Club; 2000 Village Center Dr, Tarentum, PA 15084; Tire Dept. were professional and knowledgeable explaining future free balance and rotation devoting time answering my questions. Iwill recommend to friends/family highly
I have only used these tires for two weeks, but handling and braking are very good. I have not yet driven in any wet (or snowy) conditions, but these tires are rated well by other sources for wet and winter conditions.
I drive a 2009 Nissan Altima and these are by far the BEST tire in overall quality. Ive used 3 diff tire brands and these are by far the best. It feels like driving a new car after these were put on! The turning and smoothness of the drive is 10/10 and also a great price!
After doing research I discovered Pirelli tires were rated the highest of over a dozen tires to fit my grandson's car. I was happy to find Walmart sold them at a very reasonable price and lower than I could get them elsewhere. They're a good looking tire, warranteed for several thousand miles and just perfect for my grandson's car and providing he keeps the correct air pressure sure last him thru college. I'd buy them again for my car when I need tires.
These went on my 2003 Ford Taurus with 173000 miles. I have had them now for over 2000 miles. Previously I have had 2 sets of Michelin XRadials, BFG Touring TA, and the Continentals that came on the car. I did like the Michelin's but they are pricey. The BFGs were not very good tires. They wore out very quickly, punctured easily, and as they wore got very slick on wet roads. I purchased these Pirelli's after a recommendation from Sam's' club tire shop. The tech said he had them on his car and was pleased with them. They are very quite except on one particular newly paved section I travel on and even then are not loud but just a bit singing. They have gripped well although I have not had them on ice or snow yet. For the price I thought they were a good buy considering they have a 90K mile rating.
I only have probably 10 miles on these so far in the front of my 02 Taurus. Some cheap tires in the rear that these replaced the same cheap tires in the front. Drove in the snow today and wow these give me way more confidence in the winter now. I got them on rollback for 51.79 for 215/60r16. Double that anywhere at regular price and you'd be crazy not to buy them at this price.
New tires are very nice. Best bang for buck so far, and is comfortable ride; not expected for 90,000 mile tire. Time will tell how these tire perform, but so far so good. Please, make sure you get alignment or at least have certified shop evaluate you front-end prior to installing tires.
Excellent for my wife's car
price was great on tires. they are very quiet and smooth riding on dry roads. just had the first snow over the weekend. the tires have a unique tread pattern, just ok in wet snow.
I bought them for my Altima thinking Pirelli tires qre really good. I had used Pirellis in the past and was very impressed. However this time they fail to impress. I have had them installed and initially the ride was good and with good grip. After few thiusand miles (less than 10,000) the grip is not the wqy it should be. On a dry surface they perform OK but on a wet surface they tend to skid and I am always cautious when driving in wet weather. Even after recent balancing and alignment they still skid in rain.
