Great price quick delivery
Arrived sooner than expected in good condition. Was $50 cheaper than Pit Boss website with free shipping. I found it easy to install on my Pit Boss Austin XL. So far it seems to work well. I used it to toast hamburger buns and keep already cooked food warm. Have not done anything really ambitious with it yet.
Very easy to assemble and install. Double wall insulated. Seals very well. It will run about 75 degrees less than main grill ~ which makes ideal for sides, cold smoking, warming, or dual zone grilling/smoking. Very good deal and quality for the price.
Husband got this to attach to his pit boss 700 for more cooking surface area. The grill looks beautiful and beastly with it on. Would recommend this if trying to add more grilling area but not wanting to pay the extra money to move up a grill size.
great unit, adds a lot of extra space and uses the same grease catcher. You may want to add rtv silicone to the gasket though as it does leak a lot of smoke at the joint. It also runs about 25 degrees cooler so you have two different cooking zones as well
Easy to mount, fit my Austin XL, make sure you seal it tight at the smoke inlet to the main smoker, interior is small...about 14 x15, but ok for jerkey, chicken, small brisket. Replace smoke cap with XL cap...looks better. Added heat gasket main smoke lid....eliminated smoke loss and increased smoke to box. Add drip pan about 14 x14 x2. Box runs 100 degress less than main smoker.
It's more of a warning box than a smoker.
