When an auger or plunger haven't worked to clear a clog, a drain bladder is the next step, especially in cases of sludge, build-up or grease. Sometimes a drain bladder is used after an auger has initially broken up a clog but not cleared the blockage. For drains 1"-2" in diameter the Plumb Craft small drain bladder works best. Connect the drain bladder to a garden hose that has been connected to the faucet. Insert the drain bladder completely into the drain line and slowly fill with cold water until a tight seal has formed inside the drain line.
