This takes me back to my childhood and sleeping on my grandmothers feather bed. It fits perfectly and I love the non slip backing. The feather bed makes it so enjoyable to snuggle in on a cold night.
I purchased this plush top based on the reviews I read, and I am really glad I got it. My mattress is comfortable, but for some reason I still woke up with lower back pain. So I decided to look for something that would help and not too expensive. Since I've been using the plush top, my lower back does not hurt anymore in the morning.
I bought this to go on my hard mattress. I have back and leg trouble, and it feels great. I had an electric blanket on the bed also, but I took it off because the down is very warm. If you have too many blankets, you will roast. It feels great though. It will raise the height of your bed up 4-5 inches. My husband says it's too hot, but I would recommend this product to anyone. The smell goes away in a week or so.
Although it is not like my old featherbed I love this product! It has a plush soft top that feels heavenly. I feel like I am on top of a cloud when I sleep on this featherbed. I read thru the reviews and no feathers have plucked out. It is very well crafted. I am actually going to order a few more for my kids and parents mattress. EXCELLENT VALUE!!!!!!
I BOUGHT IT AND IT HAS HELPED ME SLEEP SO MUCH BETTER AT NIGHT. IT MADE A REAL DIFFERENCE IN THE COMFORT OF MY BED AND IM NOT REALLLY THAT EASY TO IMPRESS. THE ONLY THING THAT I THINK WOULD MAKE THIS PRODUCT BETTER IS IF IT WRAPPED AROUND THE MATTRESS LIKE A SHEET DOES.
This is a really to put on top of your mattress. Our son gave us a memory foam, so I put this on top. My husband has multiple scerolis and I have back problems. Since I put this on our bed, we both have been able to sleep lots better. Its like sleeping on clouds.
Finally found the answer to a bad expensive mattress. Tryed a 1 inch memory foam on top of it and that wasn't the ticket. Now this feather bed on top of the foam, under the mattress pad has done the trick. Now I sleep in pure bliss and no pains. But bewhere.. you will want it all to yourself. It was much heavier than I thought it would be, which is good. I would highly recomend this bed to everyone who is suffering from bad mattress syndrome.
Ok, this one is great - but you need to add straps on the corners to keep it in place - and for the price - it's worth it. You can use either side - the fuzzy one up for winter, smooth one for summer. It feels great-
For the price, I would say this product should get a Good Rating. It provides a fluffy cushion on top of my firm mattress so I am satisfied with the Plush Top.
I was really disappointed with the feather bed I thought it would fit on my mattress like a regular mattress pad but it did not, it was like a regular mattress. I expected it to be really comforatable and plush, however it just felt like a bunch of loose feathers, and it smelled awful, although the label said the feathers inside were sterlized, I was really afraid to use it, the phrase "don't let the bed bugs bite " came to mind so I returned it.
