The Pondmaster 02523 pump can be used submerged or inline. All electrical components are encapsulated in epoxy. The energy used is approximately 1/2 of regular driven pumps, and the pre-filter is provided for use in situations where deposits in the water could clog or damage the pump, helping to give you uninterrupted service.Pondmaster utility pumps are ideal for any pond application and operate equally well inline or submerged. With only one moving part, a ceramic impeller, ad an epoxy-encased power unit, there's never a fear that it will contaminate the water with harmful oils or chemicals.
