I'm not sure how to rate this product... However, 'Kellogg's Chocolate Fudge Pop-Tarts' could be considered a household staple in my pantry. Well, actually the majority purchased are for myself :). My hometown Walmart Supercenter is rarely ever out of this product, and if they are out, it's not long before the shelf is restocked. So, there's no long wait and they're always fresh—never stale.
ITS THE BEST FLAVOR!!!! ITS SOOOOO GOOD, MAKE MORE!!!!! PLEAZE!!!!!
The price is very good. I was pleasantly surprised at how much chocolate fudge filling is in each pop tart. Goes great with any kind of milk (I prefer soy!).
I purchased this twelve pack of Frosted Chocolate Fudge toaster pastries at my job because they were on sale at my Walmart job. I confess that these type of pop tarts allow me to satisfy my chocolate craving while helping to maintain my financial and caloric budgets. The 12 toaster pastries come in packages of 2 which helps a person such as myself with the best portioning to satisfy my sweet tooth needs. Fortunately, both my husband and I are both fine with eating pop tarts.
Chocolate Fudge is my favorite flavor of Pop Tarts, so, you know I'm going to give it a great review! And they're so convenient! I just pop (!) them in my lunchbox or bag, along with my suitcase or briefcase, and it's ready for snack time!
Slight expensive compared to walk in grocery. Really good for a lazy meal or snack. Wish they would pack them with some thought.. tend to have broken edges or sometimes just crushed by other product packaged in the shipping containers. So its a risky purchase when buying along with heavier items.
I figure some type of dunnage or protection would be use but nope. My boxes came all beat up to the point of being open boxes. Lots of room to be tumble ground. Price is right and the taste is good but the problem is shipping. Fix that and I might order again. Until then, no money coming from me to the Walmart Warehouse.
I see now what other bad reviews are talking about. They've gotten so thin now, forget about putting them in a toaster, they'll just fall apart and end up in the bottom. Even untoasted it crumbled in my hand bcz they're so thin with very little filling. If you want them heated, do it in the microwave on a plate and eat with a fork. I only buy these 2-3 times a yr as a snack and usually spread a little pnut butter on top, can't do that now, they fall apart and with the thinner filling, I just cut the unfilled edges off and throw it away otherwise it's too bland bcz of so little filling. I won't be buying them any more till they go back to the previous recipe and make them thicker with more filling. HEY KELLOGGS, STOP WORRYING ABOUT PRICE POINT, the MAJORITY of us poptart fans will GLADLY PAY MORE to get the quality we're used to having for decades.
The problem with a lot of these pop tarts is; lack of filling. Especially this one. Therefore there is this bland taste...all you taste is the crust part. The filling should ideally be a bit gooey, but when there is barely any filling it can't be gooey. These had no flavor to me. And I am going to indulge in something this unhealthy, it had better be flavorful.
