I was undecided on a styhl or husqvarna so i went with the 460 and let me tell you ive work for power company and tree services now i own my own business so im very experienced with cutting with all types of saws but this saw is one bad machine its got the most power thru put cut NO BOGGING. LISTEN NO BOGGING if you stay up on your maintenance and a sharp chain believe me this mother will cut. I put a bow on it and for thoses sawman that know what im talking about it was a homelite xl red bow and its bad nasty. Just set the weight of saw will go right thru what ever you set it on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for christmas, for home use on our small farm as well as firewood on my in laws large ranch. I have a smaller husqvarna 350 which has been the most reliable tool I own. Im a firefighter on a ladder truck and I know chainsaws because we use them daily. Husqvarna is such a reliable saw. I needed a larger saw for falling trees that were standing dead from the 2017 fires in northern Ca that wiped out my in laws property. The 460 is helping out with that for sure.
This Rancher 560 was a large box under the Christmas Tree until coming home from work late at night on the 23rd we found a large tree blocking the road to our home! Leaving my wife warm in the car I trudged through the snow up to the house, unwrapped the Husqvarna, assembled it in the entryway, primed it on the porch and drove my rig down to the fallen tree. This Rancher 560 cut through that tree like butter! All limbs went off with ease and with two cuts the road was cleared. This chainsaw kept on going and I cut the 15 foot piece of trunk into smaller logs that my wife then started chucking to the side of the road. Teamwork and my Rancher 560 let us get home that snowy December night!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 3 years, this chainsaw still starts quickly and runs great. I have cut down numerous trees, planked several logs and used it for branch trimming. With the 24” blade, it is a lot of saw but it works great. It has sold me on Husqvarna!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this saw as a replacement for my 455 rancher that is still very useable but getting tired after 10 years!! I found the price was overly competitive!! Bar and chain as well!! Couldn't go wrong!! So I purchased it and went straight up to fall the first dead red fir I could find!! I sure do love the power and cut spread was amazing!! I didn't figure I'd have a problem as I've owned several products from Husqvarna and yet to have an issue!! After run a full tank of fuel through her she's quite a bit cooler and my hands aren't beat up from one tank!! Anti vibration is just right!! I'll give another report after summer as I'll be cutting wood all season and that will tell me how well the new models truly work under stress!!

I use this saw year round at least once a week and have never had a problem with it , I've used it on logging jobs taking down the hardest of trees and it cuts right through with the recommended huskvarna blades . I also own a stihl ms290 but haven't used it since getting the 460. The 460 revs up faster and holds the rpm and doesn't bog down . We also have a small ryobi 16” gas saw that is great for limbs but would like to replace it with a huskvarna as well at some point . We only have a wood stove for heat and burn from late October through April And with our Bandsawmill I find myself cutting larger trees to make wide slabs and it's no problem with the 460
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this saw to replace a old model 51 that finally died after nearly 30 years. This saw is as good as my old 51 but it does seem to drink a bit more gas than the old saw. Did remove the 24 inch bar and replace it with a 20 inch bar to save my back.
