Great wired Xbox One controller. Perfect for PC as well. Same look and feel as the wireless controller that comes with the Xbox One. This controller is wired with a USB connector. I use it primarily for PC games but it woks great as a second controller for the Xbox One. Set up was easy. It is plug n play ready for Windows 10. PowerA has some really good game accessories for console and PC. Check them out. Their product are very affordable. I would recommend this controller or any of their products. Over all this controller is a great value.
Similar to the form of the orginal controller but with an 3.5 mm headphone jack. This is wired but then cord is long.
I was very skeptical when I tried to buy this controller. But when I got it, I found it very easy to use. In fact I just plugged it in the console and it worked like a charm! The only difference with the wireless controller is the cord ! I highly recommend it.
I'm a bit puzzled by these negative reviews. I finally talked myself into picking one of these up a couple of months ago--not being a genuine Microsoft controller I was a bit concerned about quality and longevity. I'm very happy and satisfied with this Pro Ex wired controller. I use it just about every day playing control sensitive games like Destiny and the Division. I've had absolutely no problems with it at all. It is very nice not to be replacing batteries every couple of days and really nice being able to plug my audio headsets directly into the controller. The only issue I've run into so far is compatibility with my computers. Windows 10 doesn't have the native driver built into it. So I'm still looking to find a driver for that. Will update this if possible if I find one.
i was hesitant to purchase this controller at first. It was 3rd party and most wired controllers are sub-par. This was not the case for the pro ex. my xbox won't allow me to sync wireless controllers, and most don't allow audio. This controller made me forget all of that. buttons are responsive, the audio jack works with no issue, i use samsung headphones as my mic and have had no problems hearing or being heard. I would absolutely buy this again if need be and recommend to anyone. my only issue was it feels a little different than your typical microsoft controller, but after an hour of play I'm 100% used to it.
REASON FOR PURCHASE: I bought this for use on a PC to play some casual Steam games and emulated games. PROS: Plugged it into the USB port and Windows 10 immediately downloaded a driver. Very simple installation process. Lightweight, doesn't weight down arms. Pleasant button clickyness. CONS: Description says 3.5 mm audio jack - not true. Jack is 2.5 mm, for use with headsets. Controller is very wide - my hands cannot reach triggers or bumpers when thumbs are on the analog sticks. Uncomfortable to hold. Left analog stick is very touchy. Cannot use with older emulated games, because stick rarely registers as true left/right/up/down. Character keeps smashing into walls, which is funny for the first thirty seconds before becoming infuriating. Must use dpad for most 2-D games. CONCLUSION: My elfin hands are too small for this behemoth. I should've bought a mini. However, this might be good for a person with larger hands who is playing more modern games and isn't living in a glorious pixelated nostalgia-fueled fantasy world.
I love the fact that it is a wired controller. Not having to buy batteries constantly is a great plus. The letters on the buttons are on the outside, so after some use they rub off. Also the A button started sticking in on the controller. The joysticks would stick sometimes. Last, the left joystick broke all together to where the spring tension was gone.
Top left movement stick became messed up after 2 days. Not dropped or tampered with its just a cheap controller in my book.
Junk. Joysticks would not stay center after less then a week of easy use. Calibration wouldn't fix it either. Save the package so you can return it. Not worth the tax on the $19.99 i paid for it.
My A button got stuck after 2 weeks of having the controller and then the rest of the 3 other buttons stopped working
