The 1 ½ inch length fingers on the heavy-duty puller allow for an extra deep reach to the bearing. The positive engagement design locks the tips of the fingers behind the bearing while expanding against the inner diameter to grasp the bearing firmly. Then easily turn the center screw with the included handle to keep the puller centered and give even leverage until the pilot bearing is free.
