We love our Prairie kitchen! We bought this for our 16 month old daughter, and she loves playing with it. The quality is so much better than your typical plastic play kitchen, and it has a much nicer appearance. It actually matches her bedroom furniture. One thing to prepare for when purchasing this item is the assembly time. It comes with SEVERAL parts and screws. It is a pain to put together, but totally worth it.
We got this kitchen for my daughter when she was 15 months, she loves it and so do all her friends that come over, she is almost 2! It is smaller than many other kitchens,but has all the essentials, great for smaller homes. Looks very nice. Took a while to put together, but that is to be expected. It has held up well, only one small nick in the surface, other than that it still looks new. I would rec this to anyone.
I bought this for my granddaughter and we both just love it. She loves to play with it and I love the fact that it looks like furniture. Be prepared to spend about 30 - 45 minutes putting it together, though. It's not hard to put together, but there are a lot of pieces.
my daughter loves this kitchen! very well built and sturdy. the kitchen is actually a cream color and it's very pretty. we love that there are plenty of places to put dishes and food. putting it together is a pain and takes a lot of time but that makes it really worth it. this is the kind of kitchen you can keep for a very long time.
Very cute. Has everything my 3yr old wanted & she enjoys hours playing with it. Was easy to assemble.
This product is very sturdy and made of excellent materials. Just WOW! It's made of better quality wood than some of our regular furniture. This should last for YEARS especially as a child product. Other reviews stated that the instructs were horrid or that it took forever. I personally took 2.5 hours to build it and I wasn't rushing. It's just very sturdy and has quite a bit too it. It didn't feel like it took that long either. Just take your time and read the instructions some steps just require you to pay attention so you don't do something backwards, but it's rather East. I'd say it's a 7.5/10 on an EASY scale. Just pay attention and don't rush. Our daughter loves this product and bangs on it and it holds up better than our kitchen cabinets.
What a great little kitchen. Our 18 month old got this for Christmas and she loves it. Very cute and we love that its made out of wood and not plastic. I think it will last a long time.
My daughter loves her new kitchen. She's 2 and the recommended age was 3 but she knows just what to do with it so don't wait until age 3. The only down side is it took a long time to put together and a good number of the screws broke off and my husband had to get them out with pliers and then try again. Might not have taken so long to put together had the hardware not been so cheap. But overall I give this little kitchen an A+. Also, the color online is misleading. I thought it was going to be white but it is really cream.
I purchased this kitchen for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. Upon putting it together, my husband and I found a couple of pieces that were split from the pre-drilled screw holes, which is disappointing. After a 2 hour assembly, one of the plastic tabs on the sink broke as I put it in, which is another disappointment. As soon as my daughter opened the drawer, the handle broke away from the wood screws, which is heartbreaking because now she is afraid to play w/ the kitchen because she doesn't want anything else to break. Like I said in the title...looks good, but quality is no where near what I expected!
