[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to sample these excellent color pencils. I thought to myself who can top the number one company Crayola? Well these color pencils have made their match. Although I have not seen them in stores yet. Your child will enjoy the long hours of coloring with these. I would give them two thumbs up.
These pencils & sharpener, plus an 'Adult Coloring Book" .. All were a present for a senior citizen confined to wheelchair. She was overwhelmed, gave her hours of relaxation and fun coloring in the many pictures. I can't believe something as inexpensive as these pencils and adult coloring book ( also purchased from Walmarts) could so much joy to this chair bound person.

The colors are so vibrant and beautiful!! They feel great and aren't real light and flimsy. They are very solid and strong. I would use these for all my coloring. They are of very high quality.

Not only are the colors vibrant also it colors smooth. Its nice to find some new ones since I moved and misplaced mine. The brush is super nice to so I can smoth out the colors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow I just love these duo ended coloeed pencils . The colors are very vibrant and so shiny. They have 2. Colors on one pencil . Each end has a different color to experience with . Appears to not spear or run and that's aplus for people like me that just love to draw and less mess . They are non toxic and no harmful to use . They come sharpened already so just grab and go . Easy to sharpen and no waste to get a cool sharpen end . Very good colored pencils .I am very happy
This is an adults perspective. My mother bought me a set at least 15-20 yrs ago. It has sketch pencils included. A very nice hard case that can expand to stand up on its own. About 110 pieces all together. I was 100% that kid who wouldn't allow anyone to use my art supplies. Even through high school I had a pouch of pencils and pens specifically to lend out. Because I didn't care if they were given back or destroyed. Fast forward to now. I haven't had the time or motivation for coloring for several years. but recently got a new tattoo and I have time off work. Though color will be decided later, I wanted to play around with the design. For some reason I had a pack of like 70 pencils in a wide range of color and brought those out. Immediately they were packed away. Impossible to vary saturation or blend, dull color, not impressed. I pulled out my Prang set and remembered why Ive kept them for 20ish years. Unbelievably smooth, a single pencil can achieve countless shades depending on pressure. Durable (again, these are old), and for gradient color I'm not sure you could make it better. I've gotten into reviews lately and wanted to express my delight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the idea of having double sided colored pencils because then I don't need as many pencils laying around while my daughter or I am coloring. The only thing I didn't like was the quality of the color of the Prang pencils compared to other brands. Prangs pencils are very blendable, like they say, but the color didn't seem as vibrant on paper as other brands. Also, obviously, you get less of each color since you're getting a half of a color on each end, but that's kind of fun too! The Prang duo color pencils are perfect for little hands! My 6 year old daughter tried coloring with one and asked if she could keep them! I think kids will really appreciate this style of colored pencil, when they're in the zone coloring they don't want to look around for a color, they just want to color! Definitely perfect for kids!
These are very nice pencils. The only thing I did not like about them is the color effect is muted. If you like a really pastel "look," these are your pencils. If the colors had been a little more vibrant, I would have given them 5 stars.

These pencils will last longer than others she has used. Very cool they can be used with water on paper wet or dry. She loves making art work and these pencils give her new ideas. The colors are vibrant and pencils do not break easily. I recommend getting a set to add to art book or case for anyone who likes drawing or coloring.
