I don't know how this book has been overlooked by a lot of people especially because its a vampire/human love story. Zoe is having a difficult time dealing with her mom's illness and Simon is a lonely vampire who doesn't have a friend in the world. They meet and keep each other company through their difficult times. Their realtionship is tastefully handled, so its ok for young adults. Much like Twilight's love scenes. The last chapters of this book are nothing like I would have imagined. Its really good!
