I bought this one for my mother for mother's day after I loved mine so much and she said she wanted one. It was easy to install (hiding the wires is the worst part) and it works great! Activating it was a breeze. Can't live without it now!
Easy to install and sounds great. We really love it!
great receiver, sounds superb w/ sound dock i purchased elsewhere, still working on auto installation when i have time. shopped around and even checked in store, .com is best price. shipping was real fast and a bargain at .97. i don't like the stores but can't beat the internet.
A compact sirius receiver that has capability of al-le carte programing. Take the stations you want without receiving additional ones you won't listen too. Easy installation, programing, back illumination is adjustable for night viewing. Have had for about month without any problems. Home adapter kit available to play off existing home stereo for added convience.
I'm giving this radio a try. I bought it with some Christmas money. The in store price seems to be similar to the online price. Install is fairly easy. Depending on your vehicle, I'd budget 30-45 minutes to open the box, set mounts, and run wires. on my Honda CR-V it took around 35 minutes to get everything perfect. This product is the cheapest way to get into Sirius' $6.99/month a la carte package. The price is good for most people because you get the channels you want and then some. This might not be a good package for you if you listen to some of the sports or premium content. But, it works for most people. Activation was no problem. I tried talking my way out of $15 activation. Unless you're a current customer, good luck trying. Beyond the phone activation, they instruct you to go online (if a computer is available) to fully customize your package. Will I keep this? The short term answer is yes. Come a year from now I might sell this if I don't love the content. But at about $7.00/month this isn't horrible. Overall, this hardware package is very good and includes everything you need to get off the ground.
Easy to install (if your vehicle is new enough to have AUX input) works great, and the price is right. Unit is Alacarte capable so you can select your favorite 50 stations for only $6.99.
Great Purchase from Walmart, quick delivery no hassle. The product is as advertised with an added unadvertised bonus. Although the radio is not advertised as remote control capable it does have a remote infrared. I had an old remote from a Sporster 5 model and it works well with the radio.
It was a very good price. And it was easy to set up.We really enjoy it.
As a long time sirius subscriber I was very dissappointed with this unit. Sirius has over 100 channels and this unit only has 10 programmable numbers which is not even close to enough, my old unit had 30. This unit does not allow you to set a reminder when when of your favorite songs comes on any of the channels, most units allow you to store 20-30 of your fav songs. The pre-set FM transmitter channels are horrible and you have to constantly switch them, it won't let you program to whatever FM station you want. If you travel a lot this is a huge inconvenience. Only buy this if you are looking for the most basic unit with no frills.
Advise to research what you will need for this product to work on your satillite ready radio. I have a radio that was purchased less than a year before purchasing this product and I am not able to get the required cable to hook up to the radio. Had to use the antenna option, which is the least desirable option. When driving I have to keep hunting for a clear Fm frequence to set the radio on. Even with the antenna's being within six inches of each other the reception is poor at best. Complete waste of money.
