Great product and method for weed prevention to minimize time needed tending to weeds. I've used Preen for several seasons and can't imagine not having this to help prevent and deter unnecessary weeds! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My mother in law had a nice vegetable garden and told me she always used Preen. That year I purchased the handy yellow easy poor container. Before planting my vegetables I added it to my garden. I soon noticed not having the usual weeds all over. Much easier to maintain. I am extra happy with the organic choice of weed preventer, now more comfortable reapplying throughout summer to my garden. My tomatoes are perfect along with healthy cantelope this year, which is difficult to grow in Minnesota.
My vegetable garden is my pride and joy. This year, after 30 plus years of gardening, I tried Preen Weed Preventer. The weekly hours spent to eradicate weeds from the rows of produce, were spent enhancing my flower beds and sitting and "Watching my Garden Grow." Thank You Preen. I tried Preen's weed preventer this summer for the first time. I have to admit that I had my doubts as I applied it. But now I am a believer! Preen has really cut down on my need to weed. Thank you Preen!
I have been using Preen in my flower beds and between landscaping plants for several years. I was reluctant initially to use Preen, thinking I could weed the areas by hand and save the money. But after the first application of Preen, and seeing only a tiny fraction of weeds coming up versus lots of weeds coming up after manually weeding, I was sold. Now that I am dealing with chronic back pain and finding it difficult to bend or stoop to pull weeds, Preen is even more important and has become my personal gardening assistant. I apply Preen in the spring using the plastic jug container, which is okay for me to handle. I mark my calendar to repeat the application three months later. The results are wonderful.

I've heard only positive from friends and I used it and it works good.
I bought 2 of these to get me through the summer. I hand picked 1200 sq ft of weeds and followed directions to the letter. 3wks later I have more weeds than I started with. I never expect any product to eliminate weeds but was hoping that this would at least cut down the weeds. So disappointed.
