This is a great little refrigerator. It arrived in great condition as it was very well packed. It has lots of room and adjustable glass shelves. The bottle "rack" on the bottom is too short for a wine bottle, but water bottles and cans fit very well. Door is very well insulated. A great addition to the patio by the pool so people don't have to drip water into the house every time they need a cool beverage.
I absolutely love my new sink - chose the granite countertop and backsplash around it! It looks great and we have received many compliments.
Very disappointed in this unit. Purchased in Dec 2020. November 2022 noticed a chemical smell inside the unit. Contacted BBQ Guys and manufacturer and was told only had a 1 year warranty parts and labor and 5 year on compressor. Was told by Summit to have someone come out and look at it. During the call, they were very defensive and reminded me repeatedly that it was a 1 year warranty and 5 year compressor parts only. $100 service call later, it was determined that the unit had a bad evaporator and compressor was out. Compressor parts would be covered by warranty if they ok'd the service report and sent proof of purchase and all red tape. Called for pricing on evaporator. Will cost $800 minimum out of pocket, plus out $100 already spent for service call. Basically now have a paper weight after under 2 years' service. Very disappointed with Summit's product. BBQ Guys were friendly to deal with and offered replacement of same unit at their cost. Do not want a new version of this disappointing refrigerator. I will never own another component manufactured by Summit. Buyer beware...
The fridge worked when first installed, however after we moved into our new home following a renovation the fridge would not even turn on. Our electrician checked the power and advised that the fridge contains an internal GFCI which was tripping, causing the fridge to not function. BBQ Guys return policy seems to have left me out in the cold, unlike this fridge which won't even turn on let alone get cold… I'm very disappointed by the quality of the product and the fact that BBQ Guys only offer a 30day return policy and only for items that are uninstalled. BBQ Guys offer a great selection but clearly don't stand behind the products they sell.
Too much to spend to only last a year!
