Worth buying. I'm surprised they still make parts for this type of pressure cooker. I actually bought it for my mother. So, I honestly don't know its durability as it isn't mine to use. However, I do know that almost all pressure cooker's number one problem is either the sealing ring or the air vent. They don't last very long. What's good with this product is that they come together. Therefore, even if you don't need the air vent now, you can hang on to it and use it when your original vent goes kaput.
