Truck needed a drink. Working good.
It seems good. I have a leak and have to keep adding until I can repair it.
I've bought a few gallons of this from Walmart. A good product at a good price. I buy the full strength version.
This is the factory recommended coolant for my 2001 Corvette. Works great. Should never be mixed with different coolant.
Dex-Cool for many GM Cars and Trucks. I own 2 Chevys. Your owner's manual tells you the proper anti-freeze to use. You can also internet search for the proper anti-freeze for you vehicle. Dex-Cool concentrate must be diluted with distilled water to get a 50/50 mix. So you can make Two Gallons out of one Gallon of concentrate and save money rather than buy the 50/50 already mixed.
i would appreciate a review of my last self check out, i never get a tip or review when i self check out.
Key word "Concentrate". Other products are selling 50/50 for this price, but you are paying for water! This is conentrate and you must add water, you are not paying a crazy price for water, just a great price for coolant! Everywhere else was charging almost twice the price for this product as of 05/17/24
its good for my car it tokeep it running,
Great product, always use it for all my cars. Trustworthy company!
Recently, I had an issue with my vehicle overheating. While troubleshooting and replacing various cooling system components, I've gone through a lot of coolant. I had initially been purchasing the 50/50 pre mix and actually bought this concentrate on accident. Still, it was all this brand of Dex Cool. After realizing this was concentrate, I decided to purchase a coolant tester and jugs of distilled water as well. So really I couldn't tell you if it's the pre mix version or the concentrate version or if it's both that don't work but I won't be buying this brand again. I read the directions, I poured half of this concentrate gallon into the empty 50/50 or pre mix that I had previously purchased. I added distilled water to both his jugs until they were near the top but not all the way to the top. I then used the tester and everything appeared fine. I added it to my vehicle and had no issues for about 2 months. We just had our first really cold snap of this winter here in Minnesota. I believe the coldest it was was 1° but also we had windchills so even tho it was 1° , with the wind, it actually felt like it was -17° NOW THE JUGS CLAIM THIS ANTIFREEZE PROTECTS UP TO -34° I'm not a meteorologist so I don't know if windchills count lol but even if they do it was at worst feeling like -17 even though the actual temperature was 1° So I go to start my vehicle early in the morning. It had a difficult time wanting to start even though the battery is new. So I pumped the gas some and it started. I let it warm up for about 10 minutes before driving off. I made it to the gas station about 3 blocks away, went in and paid. came out to orange slushy coolant all over the ground. IT WAS FROZEN and caused the coolant level sensor to snap off and pour out. I still had the other full jug in my trunk so I put the sensor back on securing the clip and checked the reservoir and obviously it was empty so I got the other jug out of my trunk and it was frozen slush as well. I had to bring it in the gas station bathroom and run it under hot water for what seemed like forever before I gave up and poured the liquid slush into the reservoir so I could make it home and hopefully not cause anymore damage. Thankfully, it's back up in the 30's but I'm js don't friggen claim that your product is antifreeze if it friggen freezes. I had later that same day due to funds purchased the auto store brand concentrate and did another flush and did the same poured half in the empty jug filled the remaining with distilled water. I believe with the windchill the coldest it had gotten was feeling like -11° No issues and I've checked both the reservoir and extra jug in my trunk and neither were slushy. I originally bought this be because it wasn't the most expensive but it also wasn't the cheapest. it was about in the middle price range and I didn't want to go the cheap route because coolant is obviously important. Well the cheapest has held up and this hasn't. JS
