nice kind of small that is ok
I have a lovebird and we have been taking him everywhere with his normal cage which is quite large and very heavy. Not ideal when we are packing the car full with stuff. This made traveling with the windows down much safer. Our bird fit perfectly with plenty of room and loved the swing. This is a great value for the size and ease of this cage. I love that when he is not using it, that it fits great broken down in my closet. I would highly recommend for either a travel cage or for a cage in of itself for your small bird.
I needed somewhere to put my parakeet when I clean her larger cage, since she will not get on my finger. This is much better than her cardboard box and it is so much bigger than I thought it would be. I have this cage right by her other cage and just scoop her up and place her in the holding cage.
I bought this for my parrotlet for bed time and travel. It is the perfect size for he bed and a few perches. She has a much larger cage that she stays in throughout the day. This way she comes to bed with me at night and gets all of the attention she needs.
We purchased this cage to travel across the country by car with our parakeet, and it worked fine. Only problem was that he made a mess! I would recommend buying a seed catcher for it. Otherwise it was perfect.
I needed a cage to transport my birds from the breeder to my home and this cage worked well for that purpose. I don't think its big enough to permantely house one parakeet, much less two parakeets. They need room to actually be able to fly a little bit. So I would not recommend this product for permanent housing but I would recommend it for a transport cage. **Also, I took some zip ties to secure the blue plastic bottom to the wire cage so it wouldn't come apart by accident....
This cage is very cute but it is also very small! It is light weight and kind off flimsy, I would not recommend picking it up by the handle. We always lift from the bottom. It is very easy to clean since it has a nice deep bottom and a slide out tray. Overall it is very cute, serves it's purpose well, and our bird seems to really like it!

No wire base where the bird could be standing up on it.
It is very nicely made and looks good but not the size for a parakeet. Way to small to be a regular cage. But it was good to train my baby parakeets to perch and move around without fear of them falling to the bottom of their big cage. Seriously though way way wayyyy to small to be a regular cage.
