[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Prismacolor Scholar Color Pencils are so great for Art students. I got these for my oldest daughter and she absolutely loves them. There are 24 beautiful colors and they are perfect for sketching and drawing! Great pencils!
Customers like the quality, appearance, color and softness of the coloring pencils. They mention that they are far more durable than the Premiers, blends nicely and that the tips are soft enough that it doesn't look forced or unnatural. They also like the blendability, value, and performance. That said, opinions are mixed on sharpening.

All of the basic colors are included in this set as well as some flesh tone colors that are not common in sets this size. My young artists loved these! They color quality of these is great.

Used these for my students to make shrinky dinks. The colors look so bright and we easy to work with. These were a great choice in both cost and quality.
The first time I saw these I was sitting in class and my friend had them they looked amazing on paper!!! I was shook so I got them and use them ever since!!
these pencils are smooth riding there's no streaking and like some other pencil colors when you finish coloring the page looks like it's chalky so i buy no other pencils but prism
These pencils are vibrant, soft, and durable - I was able to draw this and get intense pigmentation and blendability with the pencils, and highly recommend for beginners
Very long lasting and don't break at all while sharpening. Only complaint is they get lost very easily! Maybe that's just me though. Very good overall.
I love the pencils, but the case is poorly made and doesn't stay open very well like it shows in the picture.
