I was initially disappointed with these. I'm used to ordering 5" x 1000' 80 gauge rolls, and I didn't realize these were 4" x 500' rolls. An error on my part in not reading the description fully. There is nothing on the packaging that states what the thickness or gauge of this shrink film actually is, and no SKU or part number that can be looked up to verify it actually is 80 gauge. However, after testing these out on a few wrapped bundles, it does seem stronger than the "Duck brand" stretch film I've used before, which is 60-70 gauge. The price per ft2 is only slightly higher than other commercial 80 gauge shrink films out there. Although I won't buy these again because I prefer the 5" x 1000' rolls, these aren't actually a bad deal if you want or need the smaller width.
