When your ready for another cup all you have to do is push a button and it warms the water again in no time at all! The design is sleek and easy on the eyes. Pairs very well with my other stainless steel kitchen products. You can even see what temperature your water is! Really love this!

I use it whenever I need some boiling water for my cup of noodles, and my wife uses it for tea and the occasional instant coffee. It heats water to boiling super fast. I haven't actually timed it yet, but it seems like it comes to a boil within a minute or less, which is obviously way faster than boiling water in a pan on the stove. Even better than the old-school stovetop kettles. Also way faster than microwaving a cup of water as well. It even looks cool sitting on our countertop.

It's the perfect size and very well made. It heats up very quickly & I bought a car adapter so I can take it on the go when I'm camping or hiking. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this electric kettle. The chord wraps around the base for storage. The base swivels and does not get hot when you use it. The kettle is simple to use and It took approx 5 minutes to heat the water to the highest temperature. Simply add water and push the start lever down. When it reaches the hottest temperature the kettle will turn off. The only con I see is that there is not a signal to alert you that the water has reached the highest water temperature. I see this as very minor knowing it only takes approx 5 minutes to achieve results.

The kettle is very large and can heat up a very good amount of water. Proctor Silex is a very good company and makes very good products. I would recommend this kettle to everyone.

The temperature gauge is also a cool feature and allows a reference point to the heating process. The grip is also useful to have and contributes to the ease of using this kettle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this kettle! It boils very quietly, and at about 6.5 minutes from cold when very full, it's about a minute faster than my old kettle. I'm British and need a constant flow of tea, so this is important. It's always slower with the lower voltage rating in the US, but this kettle does a decent job. It seems well built, sitting securely on the base. The lid fits snugly, so no chance of it falling when pouring. There's a removable filter on the spout inside, and it pours really well. I like the addition of the thermometer on the side - great if you're just needing some hot water for hot chocolate or something, rather than a full on boil. On top of all that, it looks great - fits well with my kitchen!

It only takes about five minutes (if that long) to boil. You simply push the button down on the back and it pops up when it has reached a boil. My kids have been loving it for hot chocolate and I have been enjoying the convenience of hot tea on these chilly mornings. Definitely recommend this electric kettle.

Only small thing I don't like is the cord is suppose to be a short easy neat chord that wraps up at the bottom but it isn't retractable so its designed like it should be but you actually have to get under there and wrap it. All in all, I really like it though and the design is very sleek and goes with all decor. Makes hot cocoas and tea so much easier!
