This was purchased for my husband and he is so happy with it. He put it together almost 100% by himself, just a few minutes with my help to hold a part in place while he screwed it in. So far so good. All the parts were there and very well packed for shipping protection. It was delivered quickly to our home which was greatly appreciated as it is a very large and heavy box to get in our car. He set it up in the family room and watches TV while exercising on it. He already is building up his time spent cycling on it and feels his legs getting stronger.
I am short so control panel bar would be better at a lower level for me but love that it is quiet and well built.
I have had my bike right at 1 week now and love it. I admit it took me almost 2 hours to put together, but, I bought it because I am handicapped and needed a boost to my exercise routine that I can do at home by myself. So, that said, 2 hours really wasn't very long at all when I did put it together alone. I use it daily even though I can only go 2 to 2.3 miles per day. I like the different programs, but right now sticking to "easy rider" mode. LOL. Also, I always buy the extended warranty plans when I purchase expensive items and though the bike was a good price at only $249.99, spending an extra $37.00 doesn't seem like much for a full four years of peace of mind. If for some reason the bike does break down, I know I am covered with this plan. Peace of mind is invaluable. Thanks Walmart.
I really like this bike and recommend purchasing. I did a lot of research and given the current environment and went ahead with this bike. It is very comfortable. (I am 58.) I was looking for a bike with a comfortable seat and I am glad I decided on this one. The seat is very comfortable with good support for the back. It is compact enough and fits nicely in the corner I set aside in my home office. I found a nice mat to fit under that is the exact dimensions of the bike. I don't have a fancy tv screen, but this bike has a nice space for my Ipad or iphone so I can watch tv, check emails, listen to music and any other app I decide to engage. I also have found a couple of great virtual bike rides on YouTube like Mt. Zion in Utah. Great buy!! Some assembly is required. I did read in the reviews about the news bumping against the handlebars. This happen a couple of times, but it is not a big problem at all. It has several workouts built in as well as various resistance levels for a more challenging workout. I can work up a good sweat in 30 minutes on my bike even at the lower resistance levels. I am very glad I made this purchase and decided on the recumbent model.
I love my Pro Form recumbent bike. Assembly was fairly easy. The bike is durable, comfortable and very quiet. I'm very happy with my choice!
After reviewing different exercise bikes, we decided to purchase the ProForm 235 CSX Recumbent Exercise Bike. We have been very satisfied with this exercise bike. It did require patience to put it together and you needed to have a screwdriver as stated. But once it was put together we have used it daily. The exercise meets our needs perfect. If you purchase this exercise bike we think you will be very pleased as well.
We recently purchased this bike and it is set up in our living room with no issues. Assembly took 20 minutes, it is ultra quiet when in use and very easily moved around when you want it to. My only complaint is that it requires 4 D cell batteries that I was not told about. You can purchase a power source for only $25 which we did. Overall, very satisfied and we use it daily. Seems to be good quality and very comfortable to use. I recommend this to anyone wanting to build up their bicycle endurance. Good programs and easy to see monitor.
I ordered this type of bike for my knee. I needed something to strengthen it, and I am not quite ready for a regular exercise bike. This is the perfect bike. I admit that when it first comes out of the box, the setup can look daunting. However, the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. We had it up and going in no time. For the price, this is a sturdy and well-made bike that meets my needs.
I had knee surgery and I am not able to use an upright bike or treadmill for my exercising. This bike fits the bill perfectly. It was very easy to assemble and worked the first time I tried it. My only issue is the handle seems to be a bit low for my knees. I hit the bar occasionally when pedaling fast. Other than that, it is a good buy.
Loved how it worked for about 12-15 miles, then it would not change resistance levels. Husband put it at higher level, and I could not change it back to level one. Called company for help. At this point after owning it 1 week, it is in pieces on the floor waiting for a new motor that supposedly changes the resistance. Not happy at this point.
