This machine is perfect for what I was looking for! You can't pay $269 and expect gym quality so it does click as it is gliding....who cares. The water bottle holder part is too far down to be very functional, you have to stop to grab your water. Not a deal breaker though. The fan was a nice touch. Very happy to be able to get some cardio in on my busy days when I can't make it to the gym!
Took some elbow grease to assemble but knew that going in. A couple screws were tough to get to or hard to turn but all ended well. Only complaint is the water holder is by your ankles.
User friendly to assemble. Built well. Many nice features I wasn't aware of. One possible improvement would be a lighted workout screen.
I (a woman) was able to put the machine together by myself with no problems! The machine works great and is super quiet. I love the Jillian Michaels workout assistant. The machine is light enough to move from room to room with ease. This is definitely a fantastic buy at a great price!
Setup was not as difficult as originally thought, is was pretty straight forward. The tools they provide you and what they say you need are pretty accurate but we needed our own wrench set to get some of the bolts tightened. The only thing I am disappointed about is they do not provide the batteries for the main console. Guess I missed that in the description! Still have yet to use it but I like the stride length.
I love it now that the motor was replaced. At first it was not working. I was very disappointed, however their customer service worked with my husband. They sent him a replacement motor and a how to video on how to change it out. It works great now!! I use it everyday!!!
This elliptical was a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. They are very pleased with it. Their only complaint, 'NO PLUG'.
My husband put this together in 1 hr 45 mins. It was easy to assemble. It is not the sturdiest machine. If you are used to gym elliptical stride, it will take a bit to adjust to only a 17in stride, it's okay now. The Jillian Michaels bonus is nice but I haven't used it much. The speakers leave much to be desired, but that was just another "bonus" for me. The fan is nice with the levels. It is noisy. Not obnoxiously noisy but definitely not quiet! I would say it's worth the money. I'm sure it will not last forever as the wheels constantly run on the track and will wear it down. By that time, I figure I will have used my money's worth and will upgrade to a high end machine. It says you can use a power cord. It I have yet to find where I would plug it into the machine. Great for a beginner, especially a lightweight beginner. I'm sure the heavier and closer to the max weight the person is, the more you will notice the unsteadiness. My 8 year old gets in it, really using it and it sounds perfect and it is sturdy for her! Oh and the cup holder is positioned ineffectually, it is too low to reach while continuously using the machine. Happy hunting!!
This product was returned due to poor workmanship. Did not get past step 3 when a failure, in quality of the weld holding nut to the frame failed. Unit had to be returned for a refund.
This looks like a great elliptical, and I am sure that it would have been a wonderful value for the price, had I been able to assemble it!! Unfortunately, the tubular piece that the display screen sits upon did not fit onto the base. My husband and I contacted Proform, and they were very helpful in promptly sending a new piece. This piece also failed to fit! We spoke again with Proform, and they said their engineers were working on it, but that it might be a long time before a solution was offered. They suggested I return the product to Walmart. I was disappointed, but was happy that Proform dealt with the issue in such a courteous manner. I would purchase from them again...just not this product.
