I just finished my first workout. Although I enjoyed it, it seems like resistance 1 is still a killer. I'm trying to look at reviews to see if it's something I did wrong, but nothing is grinding or squeaking so I don't think I put it together incorrectly. I was only able to finish 10 minutes. So we'll see how it goes from here!!
Just purchased this to use while we are in quarantine.. I am in love. Easy to use. Great workout. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
connects to ifit app via blue tooth. a great additional app to have as you can work out with a trainer and the levels adjust to match whats on the video when it comes to toughness. I don't even know how long i have had this machine... since early 2020 at least. Well worth the investment.
We looked at several comparable machines and decided on this because we weren't sure how often we would use it. It's an excellent machine and it burns muscle just like it's competitor, assembly took about an hour, but it wasn't hard and the machine is solid. I would highly recommend this!
A very solid machine that will get your heart pumping. it took about an hour for me and my boyfriend to put together. It's a great machine to have especially in the winter time if you normally prefer outdoor exercise it's a great alternative to keep fit in the winter when weather is bad.
Assembly took a little longer than I would have wanted but I was alone during most of it. The directions stated that it takes two people. The machine is smooth. Very good investment. I can get up in the mornings and do cardio before work and weights on the weekend.
Good sturdy eilliptical. My husband and I are getting a great workout on it. It was pretty complicated to put together, and you're supposed to have two people to assemble. My husband has put 3 ellipticals of various brands together, and it still took about 3 hours and lots of thinking.
This will get the job done but I am very disappointed in this purchase because it seems like there is always something wrong with the elliptical. First it was squeaking very loudly, while using the machine the bolts frequently loosen. We have take this apart twice since the initial assembly for different reasons. There is a persistent squeak that is tolerable but does not go away even when we keep applying more lubricant to all of the working parts. Now it has a clicking sound on the left side that we cannot resolve. Technical issues really make me think about returning this. Exercise wise it works but the features on the machine aren?t close to accurate. For example, the heart rate monitor will tell me my heart rate is 69 (it doesn?t even get that low when I?m resting) while it is actually 169 bpm.. and the calories estimate is grossly exaggerated. I understand that it?s an estimate but to tell me I?m burning 200-300 calories more than I actually am is a little much. If I could go back in time, I wouldn?t purchase this elliptical just because of the clicking. It drives me absolutely nuts and makes me feel like it is going to break at any moment.
The part don't align and the technician hasn't called to support for a week. We are thinking to return the product
Just returned this product today. Do not buy this if you do not want to have to both pay for the machine AND pay for an ifit subscription in order to use it. It may say "iFit membership not required to access onboard workouts and other core features of your HIIT Trainer" but that is a joke. If you want to actually be able to SEE what workout you are selecting from the onboard workouts included, you will need to get the subscription. There is literally NO way to know what one you are choosing or what lies ahead in your workout because there is no bar graph like you would find on any other workout machine ever made. I called Proform and they said that you need to purchase the ifit subscription to actually be able to see what workout you want to choose. If I wanted to pay a monthly subscription to be able to use a machine, I would have joined a gym. (As a side note, Proform also tried to tell me that NONE of their machines have the bar graphs included for free - yet I own a Proform recumbent bike that DOES, and my sister owns the Proform Smart Hiit Trainer that DOES, so, um, what??). The entire thing has been a big disappointment, and now, of course, because of the restocking fee and the charge to have it picked back up from where I bought it, I will get back only a fraction of what I paid. Needless to say, I will NEVER be buying another exercise machine from Proform again.
