It was a challenge to put together...I had to ask my husband for a little help on a few screws because they didn't line up perfectly, but all in all it can be put together by a woman with just a little help from someone else! I have been using it for a little over 2 weeks and I can already see the difference! I am stronger, I can walk/run longer, and I have already lost a couple of pounds!
I bought this for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. I picked it up at Walmart took it to her house and put it together myself. The instructions were easy to read and understand. It is heavy so you may need some help moving it into the house. It took a couple hours to assemble which I expected. Once it was together it is a breeze to move around. I highly recommend this unit.
We recently purchased the Pro-Form 1850 Treadmill to replace our 12-year old Pro-Form treadmill, which was still working fine by the way. We got this on a Black-Friday Special, which saved us $500, and made it a steal. Sam's delivered it to my house in 6 days during the holidays, which impressed me. The truck dropped it at my door and this thing was big and heavy! (I could have paid extra for in-house delivery and set up, but I am cheap!). It was packed solidly and had no damage. Easy to assemble and set up. Wi-Fi picked up instantly and the features list is very long. HDTV, built-in android screen with many programming and tracking features, iPod interface and built-in stereo speakers. This is much more solid and well built than our previous Pro-Form treadmill and it is about 1 1/2 feet longer and about 6 inches wider, which makes running more comfortable. The deck is solid, as is the frame, and I expect many years and miles of use from this treadmill. Extremely pleased with this purchase.
We love this treadmill. The quality is outstanding. We got it on special over the Christmas holiday ($500 off) and it was delivered quickly. The only bad thing I will say has nothing to do with the product, as when it arrived it was apparent the box had been dropped in shipping and while no permanent damage to the unit was found it did crack and break some plastic moldings around the back of the unit. But we still use this machine almost everyday without a hitch.
This is an excellent treadmill. The construction is one that will ensure a long life to this treadmill. Putting this together takes some time, but it is well worth it. The 15" TV is also very nice. I hooked it up to a smart DVD player and can watch Netflix/Amazon. Cushioning for this treadmill makes working out very comfortable (especially for bigger people). You can also use I-fit and workout on actually training runs. Vern nice, would recommend.
The only problem with an otherwise great treadmill is that many of the screw holes were not properly sized making it VERY difficult to assemble the machine properly! The most frustrating one was the hole for the ground screw; consequently, I'm not certain that my machine is properly grounded!
Very nice treadmill, solid and sturdy with a good selection of programs. Love how it folds up and takes up very little space which is important in my 1200 sq ft house. The motor is strong and I love the large screen!
This was just what I was looking for. Huge 10" touchscreen plus a tv not to mention powerful motor with high speeds and it has decline and incline. The base and uprights are sturdy metal. Overall i've been very impressed.
Once we hooked up the TV it started to have a constant beep like a heartbeat. Called service to troubleshoot and they are sending us a new console on back order for at least 1 month. Delivery is to the front door or garage only so I had to get help to move it inside at 300#. We are able to use it without the TV function at this time and are enjoying it. Bummer with it being an issue right out of the box and over 30 days for parts that we will have to put in. I'd call that weak service from the company. Steven
I WAS SO HAPPY ABOUT GETTING MY PROFORM TREADMILL... THEN I OPENED THE BOX. I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A SMALL BOX ON TOP WHICH I OPENED AND SAW THAT IT WAS THE TV ( THE MAIN REASON WHY I BOUGHT THIS PARTICULAR TREADMILL) I THOUGHT TO MYSELF THAT IT WAS PECULIAR THAT IT WAS ON TOP OF THE BOX AND COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN DAMAGED. WELL IT WAS, THE WHOLE SCREEN WAS SMASHED. I WAS REALLY MAD BUT I SAID TO MYSELF THAT I WILL JUST CALL PROFORM AND HAVE THEM SEND ME ANOTHER IF THE REST OF THE TREADMILL WAS IN GOOD ORDER. I PEEL BACK THE PLASTIC FROM TREADMILL AND THERE WAS PAINT DAMAGE ON IT. NOW I AM REALLY STEAMED. I WANT SO BADLY TO GET STARTED USING MY TREADMILL THAT I CONTEMPLATE OVERLOOKING THE PAINT DAMAGE. I CALLED PROFORM FOUR TIMES AND SAT ON HOLD FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME WITHOUT GETTING SOMEONE ON THE PHONE. NOW I DO NOT WANT THE TREADMILL. I PAID 2000.00 + FOR THIS TREADMILL AND I BELIEVE IT SHOULD COME TO ME IN PERFECT ORDER AND WITH OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I RECEIVED NONE OF THE ABOVE.
