The folding design is perfect for my small condo. Assembly was slow, but not too difficult. My only complaint is that the cupholder is too low and I tend to hit my knees on it. Overall, I am very happy with this product.
Walmart had the best value on this elliptical! Other stores were twice as much in price. My husband has a bad arthritic knee & this has helped him gain strength without pain. I thought it had some pre-programmed "voice" workouts for inspiration but it doesn't. If you need someone telling you to work harder or need the iFit cards this one doesn't have it. Other than that it is very good to get some low impact exercise into your day. An hour and a half to assemble; all parts where there and it is very very quiet.
I searched everywhere and on every site for an elliptical. Im very picky so it wasnt so easy. I wanted one at a reasonable price, but a good one that could get the work done like a pro. (It also had to be cute and stylish) I was just about to give up when i came across the wal mart website. I was skeptical because i had just recently looked on the Sams website and found nothing of my interest. I looked thru the ellipticals and the proform SpaceSaver elliptical caught my eye immediately! It had all the features i wanted and i loved the yellow-greenish color it had on the back of it. I was so anxious to get it, i wanted it ASAP, but it said i had to wait 10-16 days. WRONG! It took only 6 days and my local Wal Mart manager called me and told me my elliptical was there already. It was assembled and ready to be picked up. Wal Mart assembles their products at no charge, very convenient but must have a truck. The second it was in my house i got on it to try it out. I stayed on for an hour it felt so good! The fan felt extremely good! (it takes 4 DD batteries) The programs are very easy to understand and the best part is its a spacesaver so you can store it when your done. I keep mine in the coner of my living room and it takes up not alot of space at all, and i live in an not so big apartment. I love it and im so glad i purchased it. I would recommend this product to anyone whos determined, because its a workout!
I am well pleased with the ellipticle. It is really more than I expected to get for the money. I have used it almost daily and the performance of the machine is un-touchable for the price. I am a 69 year old gentleman with great physical challenges,(dont like to use the term dis-abled) and it only took me about five or 6 hours to assemble. All parts are VERY WELL identified and marked accordingly. The fan works very well, blowing a nice gentle breeze; the changing of the 3 "stride" choices is very easy. If you cant assemble this by yourself something is wrong. Great looking too. The ONLY thing I dont like is the cup holder as I hit it with my leg every now and then but even that is no biggie. If you find a better piece of exercising equipment elsewhere you need to buy it but I dont think you will. I am a perfectionist and very particular and hard to please but I am very well pleased with the purchase of this ellipticle.....
I was initially concerned when I ordered this space saving piece of equipment that it would sacrifice in sturdiness and quality. I was pleasantly surprised that it did not. I am quite pleased with it. One negative: assembly was quite extensive so if you are not mechanically inclined, it may seem daunting when it arrives.
It took about 2.5 hours to put together. All the pieces were there and the instructions were pretty good. Make sure all the pieces are there before you begin. This elliptical has an adjustable stride-select. You can select from 12", 15", and 18". 15" was perfect for me (being 4'9") It does rock just a little when in use, but there are leveling feet to help with that. You are able to choose between weight-loss workouts and resistance workouts. There are 10 workouts to choose from or you can free-style it. There are also 10 levels of resistance. So far, I have been doing the 300 calorie burn workout which takes me about 27 minutes. 300 cal. in less than 30 minutes? I'll take it! I have had it for only a short time, but I am really liking it. It's an excellent workout. Just what I was looking for.
My issue with it the downward slopping of the peddles makes it difficult for me to use. I feel like I'm slipping while trying to use it and in reality I am. It is small and compact easy to fold and move.
Have returned it to the store as several parts would not fit. Was not pleased at all.
