The bag easily holds many pairs of clothes, as well as any toiletries one may need. The bag containing wheels is an added bonus. I think this bag will work for anyone needing a medium amount of space.
Happened to find I needed a larger bag for a week with family and my son ordered this for me since it promised to be in the weekend before I left so I could pack. We weren't sure how it would hold all my stuff and new it was a chance but we took it. Sooo happy I did. This bag is huge. I got all my stuff in with no problem. Even has a few side pockets for other items. The trick was as is usual I come home with more stuff than I went up with and it was all packed in there and I think there were a few small things I could have thrown in. The wheels worked good for what I needed although if you aren't careful it tips. Zippers seemed to be working good and not stressing under pressure. Loved the elastic string on top cause the one thing that was a bit too bulky to fit in was under the elastic which I didn't figure out till I came home but it was great. If FedEx would have delivered to my door instead of leaving it outside down below by the garage it would have been a perfect delivery.
I love this roller bag. I have purchased other roller bags from this manufacturer. However, it was not enough room for all the junk I tend to carry on a daily bases. There is so much room in this roller bag. I can put my purse, shoes or boots, my lunch and other items. It could also be a good weekend travel bag. There is enough room for clothing, beauty essentials, etc when used for travel.
My husband and I both have the larger Protege rolling duffel bags. We love them. So we bought one for each of our grandkids. I gave it 4 stars because obviously there are better ones out there. But this is very good for the money.
This bag seems pretty good if you're looking for a lower end bag for not very rough use. I was looking for a cheap travel bag, not too big, not too small. I was looking for a wheeled suitcase but since they were all expensive and only came in packs of 3 or more, I decided to settle for this duffle bag. I am expecting it to be torn at the edges after some heavy use, but that's OK with me. I wish it was slightly cheaper, for I do miss the legs opposite the wheels. This might even be good for carry-on luggage as it's small enough. It does look spacious though. Overall, it's not the best bag out there, but not a bad deal for the price.
I purchased my rolling duffel two years ago for a 10 day trip to Europe. I was careful not to overstuff it, because at its maximum size, it may not qualify as a carry on. For me, it was great way to pack light for the planes, trains and walking all over Venice. I've used it many times for a week or weekend trip. I recently purchased this duffel for each member in my family in preparation for our trip to Europe.
The bag is big and roomy, I was just a little disappointed that the bag tore while being pulled. I would also help if the bag could have a strap to pick it up on the end where the pull handle is.
Overall, this is a nice duffel bag. I expected it to be made more from a nylon material. It seems to have a thin nylon exterior, but the underlying core of it appears to be a little rubbery like a raincoat type of material. I'm a little concerned that it might tear eventually. Fortunately, I only plan light use for it. So I think it will hold up. For the price and my intended use I'm satisfied.
It's a great looking piece and stores a lot. I was able to use it for 9 night trip to Alaska with high heels inside and hiking boots, as well as all my toiletries (high maintenance woman here!). This piece lasted me maybe 4 trips since owning it. I was able to take it as a carry on with all the airlines I went on (American, Jet Blue, United, and Delta) even though it doesn't meet the dimension requirements. It died before I could make the 5th trip in Alaska =( I was boarding a tour bus and the driver couldn't get the bars down. I ended up breaking the bars off in order to get it through the airplane.
Got this bag yesterday, and it's going back tomorrow. The fabric is cheap, the pull handle does not stay up, the bag does not stand on its own and it's too small. I used today for my trip to the gym, was really disappointed...so I am taking it back tomorrow.
