Received my American Tour D74PL All-in-One Adapter Plug about a few weeks ago, and this All-in-One Adapter Plug is prefect when traveling outside of U.S. in which our American Plug won't fit in a lot of foreign outlets. This Adapter gives you the ability to use your American plugs.
This is very handy to have while traveling. A lot of people do not realize how many devices they need to charge until they go abroad and find they cannot do it. This adapter takes care of that. And it can be used all over. Many adapters are specific to only one part of the world. The wonderful thing about this adapter is that it is usable all over! I don't know anyone who wants to look at multiple devices while packing for a vacation. This solves that problem. I keep this in my suitcase so I never have to think about it. I know all I need is ONE adapter, which I can easily set no matter where I am.
The American Tour D74PL All-One adapter plug has been a wonderful product for my daughter. My daughter is a member of Americorps and helping hands. She travels thru out America and other countries. She is currently in the UK and I sent her the American Tour D74PL All-In-One Adapter Plug. She said it was easy to use and a much needed product for her. I selected this adapter because I was going to be traveling to South America and there's nothing worse than going to a foreign country and realizing you can't use any of your electronics because the outlet doesn't fit. It performed as stated, no issues at all. Also, the size is compact, easy to pack and use. If you have never used one before, do your research to understand how it works. This is an adapter, not a converter. Definitely a handy adapter especially for the frequent traveler. This adapter works in many countries including the UK, Ireland, Africa, Australia, China, Europe, Australia, New Zealand North and South America, and others, I would recommend keeping the instructions with the adapter just in case you are unsure how to operate it when you get to your country.
This is a cool product. This adapted can be use in the US and Europe for those who travel. Fits easy in carry one bags or can store in checked bags. The size is great not too small that we can lose it in our bags and doesnt take up too much room. We like that it can be used just about anywhere. If you travel, you can certainly appreciate it needing to carry one adapter instead of two or three. Clor bright white and we like that the lights tell us when our items are charged or need a charge. Great product
Wow, what an adapter! American Tour D74PL All-In-One Adapter Plug was selected from the Wal Mart Spark Reviewer Program for my honest opinion. Never seen an adapter such as this one here. Why carry multiple adapters for multiple things when you can carry just one that gets the job done for just about any and everything? That's right, an all in one adapter and great for traveling. One thing I hate is traveling and the plug doesn't match so now I am having to purchase additional pieces. With this adapter, worry no more and no need to purchase anything additional. There are pros and cons to this product. A big con is the fact that this item isn't small at all. It is rather large and bulky. Make sure you are aware of the voltage, I would hate for you to cause a power outage while using this adapter during travel. However, there is a built-in surge protector so you should be just fine. On top of that, there is a safety lock. These are a few of the pros for this product. I think it is great to have, just remember it is big in size but other than that, I highly recommend this product.
The American Tour D74PL All-In-One Adapter Plug is a convenient travel adaptor plug product because it has an option for the most frequently travelled countries including ones that I visit sometimes (London and Switzerland). If you are traveling between countries it can be such a pain to carry multiple adapters which I have done many times. This makes it so much easier! It is also nice that it offers a built in surge protector, as well as a safety lock. The packaging is sturdy and has a nice look to it. The packaging has details about the countries it will work in along with photos so you can be sure you are using the right one. There are also small pictures and words on the adapter itself that tell you which places you need to use that specific adaptor so you do not have to bring the paper from inside the plastic with you - though it would be a good idea to take a photo of it in case the directions on the adaptor rub off one day. I already have taken a photo. Overall I think this is a good brand and good product. The only think I do not like is that it does not have a USB port on it. I will definitely recommend this product to friends, but I will be sure to notify them that there is no USB port on it because I know I find this important and imagine my friends will too.
This adapter Fits electric wall outlets in: Australia, New Zealand, China, Fiji, the UK, Ireland Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe, middle East, some African Asian and Caribbean countries, north and South America and Japan. The front of this adapter will accept plugs from any of these countries as well. A couple of things to note there are no USB ports on this particular adapter it is a little big and it is not a voltage converter. It looks like the same company makes an adapter that has USB ports on it. Because this adapter is without USB ports, And only allows one device to be plugged in at a time I only gave it four stars. Also I have not been out of the country yet to be able to test it thoroughly.
This is a wonderful adapter and gives you multiple options depending on where you are traveling. This is a nice alternative to other adapters because it is all in one. I like that you don't have to carry multiple adapters or worry that you packed the wrong one. The one thing to be cautious about is that the device you are using supports up to 220 voltage. Most countries in Europe have 220 volts for their power and if you plus in a device/electronic that only supports 110 volts then you can permanently damage the item. Make sure to check the devices you are using before you plug it in. The switched on this side show which countries use which plugs which make it very use friendly. The switch slide easily and eject the correct plug you need to use. Overall this is a great adapter for anyone traveling outside the US and need something versatile and compact.
The american tour D74pl all in one adapter worked well with a standard plugin. I have to say I was a little scared thinking bout plugging in it lol. It actually worked very well. I kept an eye in it for a while just to make sure all was good but it did its job. Didn't get hot like alot of regular plugins do and it has a orange color light that's on when its plugged in and in use. The slider buttons on the side are a bit hard to adjust and will not move if you have it country settings wrong.
